the reason that Nayara is so outstanding is first and foremosts its people and the service they offer. The staff is so extremely helpful that it makes for such a unique experience. It is first first class but without being ostentatious the slightest. Really easygoing, relaxed and friendly. Examples are that the chefs will try and fulfull your wishes outside of the menu options and prepare for example the most delicious sushi if you wish. Other example is that you will be supplied with whatever you can think off for a packed lunch to take on dayboat trips. Other example is that the minute you think about something you need for the room a staff will be you. Or you want a kayak or or or....? And always delivered with a big smile on their faces. We also loved the beautiful views of course, the 'beach'(jetty type of landing with sand and access to deep water, not a real beach) that has been build with the lovely bar in front. The 'secret garden' is also indeed a gem with the most beautiful flowers.

Not much to ask for to be better. Probably it is a matter of taste whether you like a hotel at that price tag to be more 'fancy', but I feel Nayara is unique by being laid back and easy going. I think the hotel is less suitable for younger children with the jettys and the water villas. The swimming options in the sea/bay are deep water and takes probably quite an advanced level of swimmers. We loved the open water swims and got some beautiful days with quiet water. There is a beautiful pool also! Long enough for lap swimming.

The elephant restaurant needs to improve his skills with fish and seafood. Anything that we tried related to seafood or fish was disappointing. The kitchen at the regular restaurant was way better with the seafood.

Having worked in the luxury world, everything about this hotel is perfect. It has a soul and that comes through all the details and the apparently “effortless” service of a wonderful and very human team who love what they do. They are themselves. They have all been recruited for their genuine talent and connection and like and amazing orchestra everything flows and you just blend into nature. We loved David and Benjamin’s food, the amazing balance of the cocktails and the total communion with the beauty of the island and surrounding. Our swims and kayaks round the island allowed us to see dolphins, turtles and even an indigenous family in a neighbouring island. It merits its top 15 WW best new hotels in the world. Stay without hesitation and join paradise.

This place and it's people really deserve some praise! Hard to even start to explain what an incredible experience staying there was. Starting from the pick-up with a boat by Elke (hope this is how you write his name) and some bubbles along the way and the most helpful and detail oriented staff I have ever seen. Beautiful place, location, activities and ofcourse the food by the amazing chefs. Everything was so personalised. Special thanks to Franco at the beachbar for creating good cocktails and chill atmosphere with his guitar, Sebastian who knew exactly where to find dolphins on our sunset boat ride and the chefs for getting us the most delicious lobster we've ever eaten! Cannot recommend this place enough (although almost feeling like I'd like to keep this place a secret because it's too special 😂).

The property was beautiful and the bungalows were gorgeous. The food and drinks were top notch! Everyone on staff was very kind and attentive. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet place!

had a wonderful time at this resort. Food and cocktails all amazing. views of the sea from villa was lovely, also got to see fish through the window in the floor of the villa. Kayaked and went on boat trip to zapatilla. Room service perfect and staff all really helpful so peaceful and a real paradise

It is a unique property with unique staff... they were all amazing, welcoming, friendly, efficient, great personalities and all professional. Loved our treehouse, quirky, v comfortable. Great menus and choices of cocktails and drinks on offer

Difficult (especially for seniors) to get into kayak at foot of stairs into water. Need a bit of a platform.
