The value was exceptional. The breakfast was great and plentiful and even when we didn’t arrange for an early breakfast because our tour left at 3am, the receptionist gave us snacks to take for the day. Our room (apartment) was great and fully meant our needs. The staff was friendly and accommodating! The location was great, easy walking distance to the plaza de armas and with several bodegas close by.

Hot water in the bathroom all the time, which is rare in Peru. Delicious breakfast. Garage for the car. Comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Doors and walls not very noise proofed, so you could easily hear other guests talking, peeing etc.

I really had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the convenient location close to the center of the city and key attractions. Great value for the price. Would definitely come again soon!

Comfy, spacious and quiet room - excellent shower. Good WiFi and large TV. Good selection and quality for breakfast. Staff were helpful - minded pur bags until an evening flight on check out. Great location very close to everything in the centre of the town.

Nothing - everything was great!

I was pleasantly surprised by Arequipa Inn. I booked this stay last, just a few days before our Peruvian trip so options were limited and hence I thought I am getting whatever's left on the local market. The place is certainly slightly weird, but in a positive way. The building has two wings, one of them is part hotel, part hostel, the other one is like managed apartments. We were housed in two fully functional large apartments in the later section, a 2BR and a 3BR one, which ended up being incredible value for money for our group of 8. Although old and a bit tired, the apartments were clean and comfortable. We also liked the location which is generally quiet, but safe, accessible, and just a stone's throw away from some decent nightlife and Plaza de Armas. Few tourists are crazy enough to drive in this area, so we ended up occupying their entire back yard with our huge van. Secure and convenient! Finally, we used their affordable laundry service to refresh our clothes and clean our hiking wear after a few days in the high(er) Andes, which were probably the best spent 30-odd soles on our trip!

Just bear in mind that room condition, repair and decoration is not a 10. Fair assessment would be 7 or 8, but they do get my high mark for cleanness, affordability and hospitality.

The property offers an option of two bedroom appartments, which is excellent when travelling with family or friends.

There is no lift, you have to take stairs to go to the upper levels.

Really surprised by what a nice ensuite room it is. The breakfast is also good. I like it so much I'm.planning to stay and extra couple of nights

Very nice atmosphere and small indoor gardens. The family room is like a flat, complete with a lovely outside terrasse!
