This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the gorgeous San Blas neighborhood of Cusco. You enter the hotel through a tunnel worthy of a Met display with artwork setback in lighted resources of the beautiful tunnel. The tunnel brings you to a lovely courtyard beautifully landscaped by trees and flowers. We were fortunate enough to have a 2 queen bed (queens are unusual in Peru) room with a very high, slanted ceiling and skylights. Very tastefully decorated and one of the few comfortable beds, sheets and pillows experienced during our trip. The bathroom was extraordinary with a huge tub and separate shower behind glass. The restaurant was very good and it was so nice to have a restaurant after long days. In addition, there is a plethora of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. You can also walk to the main square. There are beautiful views from the lounge area where you can relax on a couch with a beverage or sit at table and get some work done on your laptop. There is also a beautiful outdoor view from the terrace outside on the 2nd level with views of the terracotta rooftops. We were fortunate enough to be greeted by Erik upon arrival who was friendly and warm. The next morning I was feeling the effects of the altitude and one of the lovely front office ladies (both sound like Mariella) checked my oxygen saturation and gave me some oxygen. Victor or Yasmine attended to us each morning for the wonderful cooked breakfast with fresh juice, fresh fruit, eggs, cheese, meat and lovely bread. Tea and espresso drinks were also available. A really lovely experience. Thank you to all the staff and whoever designed this beautiful property.

You have to be quite quick when you drop off and load your luggage as the property is off one of the tiny streets in the San Blas neighborhood. Sometimes one of the members of the restaurant staff got orders incorrect and seemed distracted. They wanted to charge me for a bottle of water upon departure at a fairly marked up price. It is not an inexpensive property and it seemed unreasonable to me. A complimentary bottle of water upon departure is fairly standard with most high end and even standard properties.

Excellent hotel with exceptional service.Totally exceeded our expectations. Cozy building in the charming area of San Blas with great views of Cusco city and mountains. The most comfortable and spacious room our family of four stayed in Peru, which was beautifully decorated, and extremely clean. Conveniently located near great restaurants, bars, and the main plaza. The staff made us feel welcomed, and their attention to details was top notch. Special recognition to Mariela and Victor, who went above and beyond to help us during a medical emergency with so much sympathy and professionalism that we'll never forget. Mariela and Victor are not only exemplary service employees, but also amazing human beings. THANK YOU!!!

Absolutely nothing

I stayed only one night and did not spend much time in my room. But the room was very nice and I loved the bathroom. The staff helpful and advised, they gave useful advice on taxi and I could pre pay for the ride to the airport. The best experience was the breakfast, I felt like a queen while the lovely waiter treated me with delicious dishes and great coffee.

For a while I thought the fridge in the room would keep me awake ... but then the motor in the fridge got quiet :-)

great place and people. we went from sept 16th to sept 22nd. the weather was very good. very accommodating with anything we needed help with or requested. breakfast was delicious and fresh with bread, fruit, some meats, coffee, lots of tea options, not like those cheap breakfasts in the US. we were able to upgrade our room for a good price. toilet. they let us do and early and late checkout. there's no microwave but they heated up our leftovers, ordered pizza for us. made cappuccinos for us. friend

there was some construction early in the morning about 7ish AM. just know that cusco plumbing and heating is different that the US. most don't want you putting any toilet paper in the toilet. also the elevation is cusco is 11k feet so altitude sickness is probably and so is sleeping problems. take a at least 2 days to get acclimated and take your time walking around. food digestion is a bit slower as well. most people know a bit of english, but i'd recommend learning some spanish. lots of people in the area trying to sell pictures and massages, so just say no gracias if you're not interested.

Great location near the centre of Cusco, great breakfast (some of the best mango we’ve ever had!), comfortable rooms. A quiet haven out of the craziness of the town centre. The staff were really helpful and friendly, they offered us breakfast on the days we were getting up very early. Would recommend!

Lovely courtyard with steps leading to sweeping views of the city. Cracking breakfast restaurant ‘Refugio’ with decent selection e.g. omelettes and waffles you can order from. Freshly prepared to order and very delicious. Courteous and pleasant staff.

There were minor overlooked cleanliness with a bit of black staining on the bathroom gown and cobwebs on the ceiling.

We loved the attentiveness of the staff. Very helpful in everything, arranging taxis and recommending tours. We’ve got an upgrade which was wonderful. Rooms are comfortable and with good showers. Location in San Blas is great. Lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood, try Jack’s and Avocado, really fresh food!

Especially the seating area in the back of the restaurant could be cleaner.

Small boutique hotel, staffed 24/7 with kind, welcoming and helpful staff. Centrally located, tucked into a beautiful old street,big spacious room with comfortable beds and bedding, nice restaurant with fresh and delicious food. Beautiful small rooftop patio to relax on.

We loved everything and no complaints

Small boutique hotel with wonderful helpful staff. The location was perfect for exploring Cuzco, the rooms a generous size and bathroom with hot, clean shower. The onsite restaurant provided one our best meals for our entire trip and the views from the guest lounge were amazing.

Nothing - it was a perfect stay

The staff at Tocuyeros made us feel welcome and provided an excellent experience and service. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. My family loved the tea bar and excellent food at the restaurant. The staff was always ready to assist us and their service was excellent. Definitely will return to this hotel soon.
