Our stay was absolutely perfect, we really would recommend staying here. Every member of staff was so kind and helpful. The rooms are lovely and clean. The breakfast is good. The location is perfect - just a short walk from the main square and lots of markets/restaurants nearby. We also did the Inca trail and the hotel kindly stored our bags for us, and we used the laundry services which was well organised.

The breakfast, staff, and room , were all excellent. This hotel had one of the most friendliest staffs that I have ever met; every one kept a smile, and they were always very polite and accommodating. Being located 2 minutes away from the main square made it very easy to find many attractions, including museums, within walking distance.

The hotel was in a perfect location for everything, and my brother and I could walk everywhere. All of the tour operators also knew the location of the hotel, which made it a breeze for being picked up in the mornings.

This was not a problem with the hotel specifically, but next door there is some construction going on, and they were working on the building until midnight! My brother and I had the worst time sleeping a couple of times, and I wish the hotel was able to go talk to the business next door to tell them that they have guests sleeping and ask for work to stop during sleeping hours.

Nice enclosed courtyard. Good location just outside the historical center. Safe and easily accessible neighborhood. Good breakfast. Easy bag storage in case you like to go one a multi-day hike. Friendly and helpful concierge.

Make sure you get a room with windows to the outside as very early morning (4-5AM) pick-ups of travelers cause quite a bit of noise when your windows are oriented towards the inside courtyard.

Hotel Ruinas is an amazing hotel in a great location just 5 minute walk from Plaza de Armas with loads of lovely restaurants nearby. The staff are really helpful & friendly. The beds are comfy & there is plenty of room. Breakfast is ample and Coca Tea is always available & very welcome after a hard days shopping.

I like that everything was super clean bathrooms super clean, clean fresh towels, breakfast area clean and good varity of food. The staff is exceptionally helpful and nice. We had Fernando helping us above and beyond carring bags, bringing us coca tea to the room when we were feeling sick because the altitude, and anything else we needed. We felt that we were in a 5 star hotel. We had the family suite and we had 2 sun roofs in our room, the natural light in the room plus the mountains view make it magical. Less than 10 mins walking to the Plaza de Armas.

Everything was amazing and clean in this Hotel. The bathroom very clean, beds, sheets and towels fresh and clean. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Henry and Sheila were so helpful and went above and beyond. They also recommended us a restaurant a block away its called TikaSara, delicious, friendly, clean and not expensive. The best restaurant while we were in Cusco. Thank you Hotel Ruinas for a nice stay!

Great room, clean and calm, great breakfast, great staff, lot of hot water, everything is perfect...I even stay 2 more nights!

The breakfast was very good - a nice choice of things. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. It was a joy to stay at the hotel and I hope one day to return with my family as part of a tour of Peru.

I have no criticisms. What I wrote above shows I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. There were no issues or problems.

Breakfast was great, Staff were amazing and friendly very helpful.

The only things I didn’t like was carting luggage up or down stairs 🤣 the staff helped if they were there, and the the comforters on the bed. I prefer the sheets rather than comforters everyone uses.
