We stayed in a room with 3 beds, which was an inside room with no windows. The beds were comfy and the bathroom with brand new and clean. The hotel gave us an air conditioner, because there isn't a window. Breakfast is on the 7th floor overlooking the city and the food was very tasty (eggs, omelets, toast, yogurt etc.) Staff was excellent and provided us with dinner recommendations and overall suggestions for the town. The hotel will hold your bags and have bathrooms and showers if needed. Our train was at 5:00pm, so we hung out in town and used the bathrooms at the hotel, we could have taken a shower if we wanted (I should have, the train ride was long).

We were on the 5th floor and we could heart the chairs scratching on the floor at breakfast time. I'd stay on a lower floor.

This is almost a perfect place to stay in MPP (Machu Piccu Pueblo or town of Machu Piccu). Our queen sized room was spacious and clean. Included a jacuzzi bath and separate shower and mini frig and safe. The breakfast was excellent featuring a short order chef. You should not leave hungry! The staff were very helpful, even ready to meet us at the train station! The train station is a short 5-15 minute walk. The variable is that the town is built on a hill and Jaya MP is up the hill. The hotel is also conveniently located to the bus that takes you to Machu Piccu, about a 5 minute walk downhill or less depending on the line to get on the bus. The hotel has a convenient elevator. While check out time is on the early side, you can leave your baggage while visiting MP! I would definitely reco this place, no hesitation.

The walk up the hill will be challenging for some.

We had a one night stay with late check in and early check out (6am), so was only at the hotel for maybe 9hrs in total. The employee at check in (I think Jason) was very helpful, his colleague also met us at the train station to welcome us. The offered to arrange a tour guide for Machu Picchu which we didn't take up but appreciated. We got a discounted room rate as it was a last minute booking, so in comparison to the normal price, we got a very good deal. The room was inside with no view, which didn't bother us as it was a quick sleep and leave stay. It was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was available to us at 5.45am and they even took a pre-order to cook omelettes the night before. They also let us leave luggage in the room which they later relocated to store for the day.

Nothing to dislike at this hotel. The only observable issue was that the hot water for the bath took a very long time to turn hot, and it trickled out so would have taken over an hour to fill up, so we gave up. The shower was great though.

With so many choices it is always a lottery picking the right hotel, I hiked the Inca Trail and my wife spent time exploring Ollantaytambo then met me here so that we could both go up and see Machu Picchu together. We wanted an inexpensive, but comfortable hotel for a few nights and that is exactly what we got. And I must say the breakfast was particularly good. And bonus points, Paddington Bear sits on the park bench right outside out bedroom window.

Nothing, this met all pf our expectations

Amazing location. Beautiful views. Very nice and clean room - as promised. Most of the staff were helpful and nice. Enjoyed the stay overall. Would recommend the stay for sure!

2 main things - 1. Be careful about the rate they charge. They had asked me for more than the booking.com amount (including taxes). When I asked them to check, they corrected the amount the next day. 2. Checkout is 10am - which is too early. We left for Machu Pichu early morning, and I was planning to come back by 930. They asked me to give the key - so I did. When we came back at 930, room was clean and they did not want to give us the room.

Have contradictory feelings. From one hand, it’s exactly what you need for couple of nights for Machu Pichu - right in the center, lovely lady met us in railway station to show the way (but it’s 1 min walk), clean. But in the morning when we went to Machu at 6, upon our return at 8 (check out time was 10 or 11), all our luggage was at reception as they thought we checked out without saying it to them. And they lost one bag (after we found it in the room). Super weird approach.

Breakfast

The hotel was on the river in the heart of Machu Picchu Pueblo. We had a river-view room. The room was very spacious. The shower was great. The breakfast was on the rooftop deck and there was a nice assortment food. The staff was very friendly. Someone met us at the train and walked us to the hotel. She also talked to our Machu Picchu guide to arrange a meeting point.

We liked everything about the Jaya Machu Picchu Boutique Hotel. One thing I noticed was the hotel did not have air conditioning. This was not an issue for us but I think our room could get pretty warm during summer.

The staff was very attentive and helpful. We were met at the train station and walked the two blocks to the hotel. The staff provided us the key information to obtain tickets to Machu Picchu for the next day. We needed to obtain a ticket to get in line later in the day. This was not mentioned in any guide books and was critical. The room was very clean and well appointed with a nice view of the town and rushing river. Breakfast is the morning was also very good.

We were advised not to open the windows because of mosquitos and the windows did not have screens. So the room was a little warm at night since while we could not access a cool breeze.

My stay at Jaya Machu Picchu Boutique Hotel was truly delightful! I highly recommend booking a room on the river view side, as the soothing sound of the river throughout the night was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast, made to order, was absolutely delicious! The location of the hotel couldn't have been better. Within minutes, we could walk to the bus for Machu Picchu and to the hot springs. Additionally, there were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby to explore. One charming highlight was the nearby bridge where visitors could put locks on; we found it super cute and enjoyed the experience! Overall, my experience at Jaya Machu Picchu Boutique Hotel was fantastic, and I would definitely stay here again.

My only complaint about this place: - Since the breakfast starts very early (5am), and it’s offered at rooftop, you could actually hear people moving their chairs at 5 am hence you won’t be able to sleep much. I suggest to management to at least put a carpet so guests won’t have to deal with those noises since 5 am and be able to sleep properly
