The room is spacious, luminous and clean. There was a jacuzzi in the bathroom which was amazing to use after a day of walking around. The water is hot, which apparently is not the case in all the hotels. The bed is huge and comfortable. It's very close to the train station but there's no noise from it whatsoever.

The staff is slow, which seems to be a national characteristic. Eeeeverything takes 3x time, so be patient 😊 I don't know if it's this hotel or the town in general but: It's very humid in the room, and especially in the bathroom. The clothes in the morning feel wet. And the surfaces in the bathroom never get dry.

Great if you need some peace and quiet away from the main town areas. The room was very spacious and there were views to the adjacent mountain from the small terrace. Close to amenities, convenience stores and restaurants. Instant hot water showers if you need it. Free breakfast included. The night receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

There is another building being constructed in front of the hotel which is now blocking most of the river view and obstructs the mountain. I was on Level 5 and looking out of the terrace into a half constructed building wasn't exactly appealing, however, this is more of a town planning issue rather than the hotel.

I picked this hotel because it's one of the few hotels near the train station that had everything my group needed. We were a group of 16 and we were looking for a place that could accommodate all of us, with breakfast, elevators, bag drop, and more. Golden Sunrise had all of that. Even though it is close to the train station it does not get much of the foot traffic from the train. Access from the train station is not that straightforward as you would have to go a little out of your way to get to this hotel. It's in one of the far ends of the town past the football stadium. One thing I really appreciated is that the staff of the hotel were there at the train station when we arrived, they had a sign with my name to guide us to the hotel. This is something we didn't request or expect. Conveniently the hotel also has a few markets and restaurants nearby. The businesses in this side of town are more catered to the locals. The breakfast offered a little more options than your average continental breakfast, looks like everybody seemed to enjoy it. Hotel was near the rivers so you could hear the water swooshing by. The staff did a great job.

Didn't like that there was no ac to control humidity. The unit we stayed at smelled damp, but aguas calientes is pretty cool all year round

My room was very spacious. The bed was a dream. The wifi was excellent. The room facilities left nothing to be desired. There is a very large flat screen TV (with all internet streaming services) with sound system. The bathroom was large, but my highlight was the jacuzzi in the room. After an exhausting (but gorgeous) hike to Macchu Picchu, there was no better place for me to relax in this hot tub. A large balcony overlooking the small river and a mountain with a very quiet neighbourhood completed the visit. Not to be forgotten: The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good location, away from town noise. Nice, spacious, clean room with comfortable beds, hot water, bathroom with jacuzzi. Friendly and helpful staff - we asked for extra blankets and got two heating units.

OK breakfast but not great, wifi had some issues. Not the best view from our window, light from the street at night can be disturbing, no ventilation in the bathroom.

We stayed for just one night. The hotel was well located and clean, the town is small so you can pretty much reach anywhere form the hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable - the view of the mountains was lovely.

Only issue we had was that there was a small leak in the bathroom that made the floor wet at times.

Location is good as the hotel is in a silent street still close to the train station and bus stop to Machu Pichu. Room was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was too simple for 4 star hotel. Windows were open when I got to my room, which is not ideal in an area where there are mosquitoes.

Good option to stay in Águas Calientes. It is located a little bit far from the main center, but in a very short walk (about 5 minutes) you reach the artisan market, train station and restaurants. The hotel itself is nice. The staff is friendly. The room is big, clean and confortable. The breakfast is ok, but could be improved.

Everything was fine, even more the staff. They went to the train station to guide me to the hotel, then they gave me a lot of advice for my MachuPicchu visit, and even it was 6 hours after the checkout, they assigned me a temporary room to take a shower before taking the train to go back to Cusco!

William's excellent service (we had a communication failure when picking us up at the train station, but he gave us a room upgrade and late check out to reward, in addition to taking our bags to the train station after check out). The room is excellent, with a very hot shower and bathtub - everything we needed after a tiring day.

Breakfast is simple, could have more options; and it's farther from the center and the train station, but it's worth it.
