Perfect location next to the bus stop up to MP Cheap And large, clean rooms Ideal for a night stay

Slight noise from the river opposite but believe thats most places in Aqua Caliente

The location of this hotel was great as we trekked in from Hydroelectrica. It was close enough to the edge of town it didn’t take long to get to. The room and bathroom were clean and very comfortable especially after 5 days of hiking. Our room had a balcony which was a plus! The included breakfast was good and it was on the terrace at the top of the hotel which was beautiful. The staff were kind and helpful. They stored our luggage while we explored Machu Picchu and allowed us to use the restroom on the terrace when we came to pick up our luggage so we could change.

It didn’t bother us, but there are potentially a good amount of stairs to get to your room so keep that in mind if you have limited mobility.

Location was great, close to everything! The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Check-out is at 9am, so fairly early (most hotels are 10 or 11). We asked for a later check-out but they could only extend it to 9:30. Not a big deal but we didn't have Machu PIcchu tickets until the afternoon so it would have been nice to be able to stay at least until 10. They do, however, let you keep your bags there in storage until we returned from Machu Picchu.

Very nice, spacious and bright rooms overlook the main street, but still we did not experience any noise during the night. So the location is perfect, with the bus station just downstairs and the train station and local artesanal market just across the river! Apart from that, we especially enjoyed the breakfast offering a variety of foods to choose from! Staff did not speak well English, but we managed to get along and even extended our stay for another night.

The first day the water in the shower was cold, but the next day it worked fine. I would advise you to let it run for five minutes or so before going in.

Let's face it, the only reason you are there is to go to Machu Picchu - this hotel is perfect for that. This hotel is situated right above the bus stop and one alleyway up from where you buy your bus tickets. We ate our breakfast which was perfectly adequate (scrambled eggs, bread, fruit, cereal, coffee etc.) at 5am and stored one of our bags in the designated locked room before getting the bus up for 6am entrance to the site.

I imagine it could be quite cold in the winter as door to the balcony didn't have proper seals. This may rust be the room that we were in though. The sound of the river directly below covered up any of the noise from the street anyway 👍

This was a great place to stay. We enjoyed our balcony overlooking the river. We had a wonderful breakfast before heading up to Machu Pichu. They had great fruit and very friendly staff. The line for the bus was right out front of our hotel. We were on the road to hot springs. They had a room with 3 beds for our sons. And they stored our luggage while we went to Machu Pichu. Hot water was not a problem for us.

We loved the fantastic location of this hotel. 3 minutes walk from the train station, right next to the buses to Machu Picchu and down the road from the bus ticket office, upstairs from one of the best rated restaurants in town (Mesa7), steps from the French Patisserie. From our balcony we had a great view of the town, we loved it. The staff were kind and helpful, and the breakfast on the top floor was basic but good. We had a great stay and recommend the place.

Best location for travelers who are here for Machu Picchu . The bus station is just below this hotel. Upon arriving by train , walking to this hotel is very near. just walk through the souvenir market and cross the bridge , you are at the hotel .

Only thing is this hotel is not sound proof, the water stream beside and the road are very loud. so be prepared to get some ear plug if you are a light sleeper.

The location is excellent, just next to the bus terminal for Machu Picchu. The view was lovely, it was a lovely sleep, and lovely view on the river. So lovely to sleep next to the murmur of the river. What an experience.

Breakfast. The first point, we got freshly squeezed orange juice, and instant coffee. Come on, we are in Peru, and we are having a Nestle ness-coffee for breakfast, not acceptable. We waited for some time for orange juices to be ready, I cannot drink it due to my health condition, and I was n.ot offered any alternative. I went out and get a coffee and a cereal bar to keep me going

Excellent location and very comfortable. Staff was excellent. They even brought us a bagged breakfast the day we left before 5am to get in line for the bus to Machu Picchu. Really nice surprise. Thank you.

The hot water was not always present and took up to 10 minutes to get warm. We had to take several very cold showers which was unpleasant. The staff tried to help but the problem recurred. The included breakfast was great but very basic (eggs, toast, fresh squeezed orange juice) but had no options without paying extra. They even charged 3 soles per table for milk for coffee. This isn’t a deal killer but just strange.
