A highly recommended hotel just outside of Urubamba and also very close to the train station for MP. The communication from the start has been quick and efficient. The manager was super friendly and helped us with everything and making sure our stay was perfect. The room was spacious and well decorated and the house keeping staff have a great sense of humour. The breakfast was a great way to start the day too! Laundry service was quick as well.

I didnt like when one day the curtain disappeared from our room and the cleaners said it was on the floor but we were there when the cleaners entered and obviously the curtain was NOT on the floor. Better to be honest and say "we made a boo boo" and not try to lie about things. The lie made me fèel a little uncomfortable but the curtain was replaced and we learned the staff have a points system for bonus. To me it appears this system creates dishonesty among the staff who will lose points if they do anything wrong therefor theu do t want to accept resonsibility for something so trivial.

My stay at the Life Hotel was amazing. Dan (hotel manager) and his team did everything possible to make me and my family welcome and comfortable. He gave us advice on where to go, what to see and eat. The hotel has everything you require from the swimming pool on the terrace, sauna, great food to clean spacious rooms. It has lots of wash basin’s dotted around and space to eat in another area if you are concerned about covid. The location is excellent amongst rural beauty and surrounded by the andes mountains. It’s about 15 minute taxi ride into Ollantaytambo and 20 mins to Urubamba. Dan made us feel welcome and part of the Life Hotel family. Definitely would recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in the scared valley.

The staff was exceptionally helpful. The manager, I believe his name was Dan, was eager to assist us in every which way. He understood that due to our dietary needs we could not partake in the hotel breakfast and assisted us. He also helped us plan our day in the sacred valley and set us up with a driver who was cheap and reliable. The room was comfortable and quite nice. It looked pretty new and was much more up to date than any other property we stayed in on our trip to Peru. Overall, there is a very calm, Zen vibe to the hotel- with soft music playing and sunlight filling the lobby in daylight hours. We did not use all the amenities as we wanted to tour rather than remain at the hotel, but we did visit the steam sauna in the evening, and it was excellent!

Everyone was very nice. Breakfast was great. It is a beautiful building, everyone is very nice. Bathroom is great. Heater was great for space. We rode horses with Hacienda del Chalan and this was the perfect location to avoid a long morning car ride. Our first night the place seemed empty, but more people came. We wished we could stay one more night. That being said.... The pool didn't seem filled, they pulled the cover back daily but it wasn't up the to filters and wasn't appealing. You had to give advanced notice for the jacuzzi but they scrub it!

Beautiful comfortable room, amazing staff.

Don’t bother paying more for the spa bathtub it takes forever to fill and the water is not hot enough for a jacuzzi. Very disappointing as this was the main reason we booked the space. Location is a little far from urubamba with nothing walkable close by, but good base if on way to ollaytantambo and/or you have a car

Rooms are large, clean beautiful view of the Andes mountains.

Fitness area could use upkeep. Location is situated between two towns, but nit really near anything

Excellent facilities for families with pool, games, cinema. The staff / reception and manager were very friendly and helpful - helped us with all our questions and requests. Peaceful location with nice local walks to do, short taxi ride to Urubamba. Good breakfast and restaurant was very good quality for evening meal.

Food prices in the restaurant are a bit higher than average, but it was the best meal and steak we had in Peru.
