The location is hidden from the hustle and bustle of the town. While it's not next to the beach (and Alona beach is not as pristine as before, so no big loss there), it's walking distance to the beach, to the many interesting restaurants, and one can take a tricycle in front of the hotel to go anywhere one pleases. What we particularly appreciated is the value for money - it is one of the few places that has "honest" price quality ratio, which is unfortunately rare in the Philippines, most decent accommodations being overpriced. It's a decent, honest lovely place with nice and helpful staff. We felt welcome and at home, i highly recommend it.

The place is ok.

Location slightly out of the main busy area, so quiet and no late night noise. Hotel had a nice garden and very nice small pool (large enough to swim short laps). Staff very friendly. I couldn't get the TV to work, but wasn't that bothered so did not ask staff to assist.

The staff were nice and accommodating. Enough breakfast options for a week's stay. Location is very near the airport and Alona beach/ nightlife. Price per night is reasonable. My family had a pleasant and comfortable stay.

TV sound quality is poor. Some towels are worn out, need to be "retired". No bidet. Hahaha.

The one bed apartment is a great size. The separate bedroom has really good air conditioning, the balcony is a wonderful size and has options for sitting down. You are in the trees which is really refreshing. The fridge was a great size and it worked well. We purposefully chose a location that wasn't in town and was a bit quieter and this was perfect. Walkable to town but peaceful. The restaurant next door was also great and took card. Breakfast was quite tasty, I had the Spanish omelette (with no mushrooms!)

We weren't able to cook as we couldn't get the gas hob to work. We chose to go out for dinner rather than ask the staff if there was a switch outside. The kettle also was so slow to heat up it didn't boil.

I thought it would be Filipino portion but it was very presentable and the toast taste great! Well done! - They’ve got parking for bikes and cars. - The pool is cleaned on a daily. - The Cable TV has a lot of channels that’s interesting to watch. - They have a lot of room for clothes if you want a long term stay. - They have a bar area, and a lot of food options you can buy and eat in your room with reasonable prices! - They have a nice balcony to chill out alone or with your partner. - They provide water on a daily! - They can assist you with tours and travels to other places (Cebu, Iloilo, Boracay and what not) around 1,250 via ferry. - It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach, but you cannot use the same road at night. It’s dangerous. - Very helpful and courteous staff. Thanks everyone!

- The toilet didn’t have bidet. :( - If you want to go out at night, it is recommended to rent a bike because going back from the beach is a mile away. - The bed we got is like two single beds attached to each other, so the middle stand is the edge of both beds combined, and most times I forget that there’s a stand in the middle because the blanket is covering it so I kept hitting my leg on it. - They don’t provide toothbrush and toothpaste. Kindly bring your own.

everything is awesome. friendly staffs. good breakfast (not buffet, but really good). cheep laundry service. huge and calm room. good bed condition. not best location but you can go to main street 5~10 min by walk(think price is really good). and so many tricycle is ask to you. so you can get this. pool is good. every room has independent. i wanna go again when i come back bohol. +++ huge bathroom.

Nice spacious apartment. Simple pool in nice gardens. Good little breakfast and friendly staff. Good value for money.

A little off the beaten track but Ok. Toilet seat needed fixing. Wifi not great i n the bedroom. Gas top cooker not working but not really needed.

Beautiful property located in a quiet area within walking distance of the town and beach. The pool was perfect and the rooms were perfect and so clean! A good variety of breakfast choices on the menu which was included in the price. The staff were so friendly and helpful by assisting us with booking excursions/transport etc. would recommend Alona42 to anyone!

A 10-15 minute walk to town/beach which may be too much for some people but ideal for us!

Beautiful garden and good pool. Area is quiet but close to the center of Alona and Alona Beach. Pretty, small road to Alona Beach which takes less than 5 minutes by foot to get there. Breakfast was really nice and the options were good. They paid attention to our honeymoon by decorating the bed.

The quality of the housekeeping was variable. First time we didn't know we should've put up a sign on the door in case we needed cleaning. One time the trashbin was not emptied. Sometimes housekeeping had left us water bottles, sometimes not. There were no handtowels or pool towels eventhough in the room there's a sign about pool towels. Once we asked for pool towels, we got them but they were taken away during the next cleaning and not replaced. We also had some problems with the toilet flush, it's not very powerful.
