The hotel is brand new and was literally spotless upon checking in (a first for me in the Philippines). Very nice room and the A/C was dead quiet. Location is also great, it is possible to walk to Alona beach from the hotel (although I recommend just renting a scooter while you're there). All things considered this hotel is a very good value for the money, would happily stay here again if I return to Panglao. Definitely recommend this place.

The soundproofing of the door is not very good, and you can hear people talking in the corridor (normal for the region though). The breakfast is Asian food only which I didn't like (obviously subjective).

The rooms are modern, the pool is nice.

Although the staff were friendly they seemed as though they needed better training. We weren't given any information on arrival in relation to breakfast, pool times. One morning we were waiting for eggs as it seemed to be the only western food on offer and a young lady who seemed to be a manager went to the kitchen and got the eggs that were cooking and we had to wait longer. The beach access is tricky unless you walk around the road which takes 10 - 15 minutes.

Newly opened,having soft opening,WOW a fantastic resort at a reasonable price, excellently built resort with modern decor,fittings and nicely decorated,rooms are beautiful,super comfortable beds with luxurious pillows the best I've ever experienced,our room on the bottom floor with direct access to a spectacular huge central pool,staff were amazing,friendly and accommodating,great security guards very helpful 24 hours patrolling resort and our car in carpark, Dolphin bay resort 5 minutes to Alona beach either by car or trycycle.

1. the shower makes the washroom floor wet from the splash 2. the food is somewhat Korean. I went to the Philippines to eat their food. Need more meat variety. 3. the walk to the beach is a bit long 4. Pool hours is short

Great location with close proximity to Alona Beach. Breakfast very good and a good number of options available. Hotel layout with the pool is very nice. The staff were the best bit for me. They were amazing! I would like to thank Paul and Cha and team.

The resort is very accessible. 5mins walk to Alona Beach and restaurants (Mist & Molly) They only offer breakfast, and their food is delicious and it’s a full course meal. The staffs are very accomodating. During our stay, we walk to/from the beach. We enjoyed our stay here and will surely consider this hotel on our next visit. Great Job to the staff and management! 🥰

It should be noted that ihus is a Chinese run hotel with almost all Chinese guests, so if you are looking for a bit of a mix then it may not be for you. The gym is not air conditionerd and the running machine broke while we were there.. They tried to charge us a corkage fee for our Grab food delivery, which is ridiculous for a hotel that doesn't have a restaurant.
