- clean - receptionist was very nice and helpful - nice room with balcony and clothes rack - 2 pools - near restaurants and stores - bed and pillows are firm - the ceiling fan inside the room was a big help since the AC is not that cold - reading lights and outlets on both sides of the bed

- road going to the hotel - not very near the beach - my mom was swimming at the pool then when she went up to just check her phone, the staff put chlorine in the pool. My legs were even dipped in, he just said “excuse me” without even explaining or asking us if we’re done. It was around 1pm and other guests wanted to use it as well. He just told us to not use the pool for 2 hrs. This would have been done at night when no one’s gonna use it. - toilet bidet leak - tv with only 1 channel (or the channel button in the remote is not working?)

Very comfortable room and it has 2 pools so I was swimming alone most of the time. Personnel is very nice and helpful. They clean your room everyday and you have a little terrace to hang your wet clothes outside.

Water quality from the shower was bad and sometimes the shower didn't work properly but I think it might have been due to the typhoon. Also, a negative point is that they don't have a kitchen so if you always have to get out for food. Also ensure you bring cash as they don't accept card payments for your booking which is really inconvenient as all ATMs charge you a fee.

The location is excellent. Near to the beach and close to the town but in a quiet location. The outlook from the room onto the pool is lovely. The staff are pleasant enough although we had very little contact with them.

The rooms are clean but very basic. In all the other cheaper hotels we stayed in during our Philippines trip we were provided with a couple of bottles of water and some coffee too. Nothing is provided in Positano. If you want your room cleaned be sure to turn the sign around. We were not informed of this so the room wasn't cleaned during our stay. The hotel do not accept credit cards so cash is needed.

The location was great, 10-15 mins to the beach and main road. The staff were very friendly. It had two swimming pools that we enjoyed a lot. One of them is under trees so it’s very convenient on very hot days. Also they offered good tours.

The first day we checked in, there were many little ants. They offered to clean the room every day or change the room. Also, the internet was quite slow. They didn’t clean the swimming pool often. The toilet flush was weak.

Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. For example booking massage and ordering food. Breakfasts were v tasty.

They wanted cash only to pay my balance. That wasn't made clear in the booking. A little welcome pack would have been helpful for example to explain how to operate the a/c and the services available. The TV remote was missing

- the location was great, just around the corner from the action in Panglao. - the staff were super friendly and helpful. - the pools were lovely and a great spot to relax! - we also loved spending time at the table and chairs playing games and chatting outside our accomodation. - the fridge was also helpful for letting us refresh with some cool water.

- the wifi didn’t work particularly well despite there being a bunch of options you could connect to. We ended up generally turning off wifi on our devices and hotspotting instead.

Rooms arranged around a common interior courtyard. Each room has its own balcony table for meals and drinking. Two pools that were well maintained so appealing to swim in. Away from traffic noise so restful and calm. A nice cross-section of the types of people you will meet in Panglao. Quick access to the main attractions of Alona.

The rooms see a lot of traffic, are worn and not well maintained but that is reflected in the pricing. You have to pay in cash on arrival. The road to the property is very primitive.

When we arrived, the air con was working but the fan was not, there was no key for the safe and the fridge was not working. However, after highlighting this to reception, they quickly gave us another fan and fixed the fridge. Unfortunately, both of us got food poisoning during our stay (from food from a restaurant outside of the hotel) but the staff were incredibly kind to us - they rearranged our tour for us, provided us with new bedding and cleaned our room and bathroom with no question. All the staff were incredibly friendly and they arranged a tour for us and transport to the sea port. The pool area is lovely and we loved having a balcony space with a table and chairs. Thank you so much for all you did for us!

Decent location in Alona Beach. This property was excellent value, decent location a short walk from town and the beach. Room was comfortable but fairly basic. Air conditioning was quite new. Bed was comfortable, drinking water available from reception. Pool was excellent.

Water pressure was quite weak and bathroom was quite dated and stained. Staff could have been more proactive.
