Review of Casa Teofista, Panglao, Philippines We stayed one night at Casa Teofista as a family with three children, and it was a great experience. If you’re looking for high value for money, this is an excellent choice in Panglao. What We Loved: ✔ Fantastic Value for Money – The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped for the price. A great budget-friendly option. ✔ Central Location – Just a few hundred meters from restaurants, shops, and the beach, making it easy to explore. ✔ Friendly and Helpful Staff – The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, making our family feel at home. ✔ Good Beds – Comfortable mattresses ensured a good night’s sleep for all of us. ✔ Clean and Well-Maintained Rooms – Everything was tidy and well-kept, which is important when traveling with children. Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) – Casa Teofista is a great option for families looking for an affordable and comfortable stay in Panglao. Clean rooms, a great location, and friendly service made our short stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Minor Downsides: 🔹 The hotel is located on a small, empty road, which might feel a bit secluded at night. However, it’s a short walk to the main areas, so it wasn’t a big issue for us.

It was so peaceful that you can relax after roaming around the places nearby and it was so near by the beach and restaurants ⭐️

It was just the road going in the property is narrow maybe much better if the road going to the property was cemented it will be nicer to walk there and the internet should be needed some upgrade if the property was full of guest the internet connection is useless its just like a display in the screen of your gadget.

Hotel is far from the bit of music and noises so you can rest and sleep peacefully.

Location is a little bit far from the main road and on the beach. Coming from the main road you need to walk for atleast 5mins going to hotel and if its night the alley is dark so its not advisable to walk alone. Going to the beach passing to Western hotel is allowed but if your coming from beach and your wet Western hotel won’t allow you to enter and you need to take the main road to reach the hotel.

It was great that guests of Hotel Casa Teofista could access Alona Beach through the Best Western Hotel. Overall the location was very central. The staff were helpful in organizing local transportation for us and were very responsive to addressing an issue with the toilet in our room. The room was spacious, clean and we enjoyed the air conditioning.

There was some external construction noise happening while we stayed there but I expect that would have a limited time frame.

There's a shortcut we can use to immediately reach Alona beach without passing by the national highway. The hotel is also situated near everything you'd need – restaurants, spas, pharmacies, etc. The room is huge and is perfect for a big family.

The parking area at the hotel is too small. We brought a pickup with us. Good thing there was still available space to park. There's a different parking area near the hotel too but you'd have to pay daily for it. Our bathroom also didn't have a bidet. That would have been a plus. Lastly, we were asked for a Php 500 security deposit but my friends, who checked in earlier and stayed at a different room, were not. I'm not sure why.

I loved the room. It was super clean, tidy and organized. There were towels available for the guests. Real value for money. Thank you for making my Bohol experience great, I will definitely come back to your facility.

I wish that the Wifi was stronger and stable. Body wash should also be refilled in the bathroom. The TV was a bit small, wish it would be a little bigger and could be connected to the internet for Netflix or screen sharing.

Great value for money, good shower water pressure and heat and nice little touches with fancy bed head, ceilings and good TV. Arrangement with Best Western means you can walk through the hotel for direct beach access by showing key - which was pretty convenient. Staff pleasant on arrival

Bathrooms could do with a touch up but water nice and hot. When wet roads to walk to beach and mains street muddy - but nothing a pair of things or crocs can’t handle!

Price: Value for the money. Just what I needed for my family of 5 to rest comfortly after each day's activities Location: Few steps only to Alona Beach. Instead of going around, you can pass thru Ivy Wall Resort. Just show your key. On the other side, restaurants are just few meters away, Gerry's Grill, Jollibee, Mcdonalds, etc. Rooms: Very spacious. My youngest child loves it. Cabinets are not that new but good enough to store your clothes. Beds are comfy, with colorful linens. There is also safety box and tv. Facilities: Private toilet & shower (a must for us), small terrace, free water, etc. You can also cook with a shared kitchen. Parking: We brought our car along. They reserved me parking space few days earlier. Parking area is not that big but I got the whole parking space as there were no other guests with cars during our stay. Service: Staff answered all my questions prior to check-in. On our check-out day, we told them we will come back past 1pm from island hopping. We were not granted late checkout due to another guest will be occupying the room but they offered their other rooms and showers for us to change. Others: I had slight problem with my car. Their staff offered some help.

The small alley from the main road going to the hotel is not cemented. It can be muddy during rainy days. Fortunately, It was all sunny during our stay.

The rooms were spacious and could accommodate 4 to 5 people. There was unlimited coffee and drinking water. There was a smoking area. The owner was very considerate. The location is good. Very affordable.

The person manning the reception was too strict. The other vacationers did not clean up the dining and kitchen area, leaving dirty dishes on the tables and in the sink.

Spacious room. Split type AC is big enough to make the room really cold. Hot & Cold shower. Bathroom has hand wash soap available plus hair&body shower gel. Curtains are dark/thick enough to block the sunlight in the morning. Free coffee & tea for guests!!! Free water, and you can refill!!! You can also cook, and canned goods/drinks available for a fee at the pantry. They have a mini souvenir shop and relatively cheaper than the shops outside. 3minutes walk away from the beach, passing through Best Western Hotel (you just show your room key and they’ll let you pass). Staffs are very helpful and accommodating. Special thanks to Pau and Moloy (not sure if I get the names right). Ms. Ruth even gladly toured my mom to some places in Panglao. She’s a gem.
