Nice room, location. Nice beach/swimming/playing areas down a short set of stairs. Great beach/area for young children to swim, play and explore (lots of starfish to see and not crowded). Nice walk along Alona beach. Took us 10 min to walk from one end of the beach (La Sirenita) to the other end (Henann Resort). Lots to see and many restaurant/bars along the way. 5th time to Panglao, first time to La Sirenita, enjoyed our stay and the quiet location.

No swimming pool. No restaurant. No "free" breakfast as advertised. Although only cost 200 peso a head for a decent breakfast to begin your day with. Little signage. The road is bumpy but no big deal. Take the resort phone number, give it to the taxi driver and getting there is no problem.

Good location, just a few steps from the beach. possibility to have breakfast at the room, with a good price. Possibility to book diving directly at the reception, being the diving store very close to the hotel as well. Rooms were spacious.

Toilet got wet after every shower. The staff at the reception were kind in providing assistance, however it can also be misleading, two examples: 1) tricycle price to go to the port 500 pesos instead of 400 as we saw directly at the tricyle banner; 2) they insisted we had a special discount for diving because we were from the hotel, and we get to know later we all paid the same (no real discount).

- Quiet place just at the end of the beach. - Walking distance to all the restaurants and bars but away from their noises. - Just next to our dive shop, very convenient. - Big room which can easily fit 3-4 people. - Staff are generally nice and helpful. - Reasonable price even during Christmas season and they didn't charge higher when we extended for one extra night due to the bad weather. Highly recommended. Would love to stay here if we visit Bohol again.

No breakfast included

Hotel staff was great and had a friendly attitude for everything: check-in, check-out, breakfast, tips of what to do, trips, snorkeling gear, keeping our luggage when we checked out, help us book a tuk-tuk when leaving. Room was great for the price, hotel is right next to the beach and located at one of the end-sides of Alona beach so you have a quiet area to rest, but literally just a few minutes away walking from where all the night-action is. We would totally come back here if given the chance!

Getting there: If you look for "La Sirenita Dive Resort" in Google, the GPS would route you to a narrow road that ends next to Kalipayan Beach, which you should not take at night as it is hard to cross the rocks and grass/bushes into Alona beach in the dark (we got lost and went till there in a tuk-tuk and it felt quite sketchy). Route the GPS to Villa Almedilla and from there you will see a (very tiny! this could be improved) sign indicating where La Sirenita Dive Resort is.

We loved the tranquility of the room and garden setting. Located a little further down Alona Beach meant pure quiet nights with no cars, party noise and roosters! Only a 5 minute walk down the beach to all the action of diving and dining then retreat when you a ready for quiet nights sleep.

Can’t really fault it. We came back for second visit in a month.

We liked a lot the location of the hotel and inside service: the room were spacious and very clean, bed were soft and wide. The territory was green and spacious, 1 min stair to the beach. The personall was very friendly and helpful. They helped us in every aspect. The location is at the end of the beach, not noisy and relaxing.

Everything i like. Really appreciated the place, the room so spacious and the beach so clear and people or staff really accommodating. The location or along the road so rough, hard to enter the vehicles. Hopefully smooth road or fully cemented road. Thanks!

The room is very spacious. The aircon works well. The room design is simplistic. And I like it that they have a spacious clothesline just outside your door. The location is very near the beachfront, and it is near the beach where the sand is finer. The staffs are very accommodating as well.

There is no bidet in the toilet. It would've been better if they add a bidet.
