Front beach and they have own restaurant you can have breakfast there lunch or dinner but you can also eat next door..this is a funny story they have a lady boy working there my partner is asking her what is her pronouns because I dnt want her to offend her at first she was confused she said I'm lady boy so my partner said I call you miss Can I order this miss she just laugh And also we have 4 bags it's heavy the stuff help us to bring it All the girl who work all of them is super nice from the front desk and all the ladies in the restaurant

I read some of the reviewsabout no coffie in the room Yes we all need coffie in the morning If you are thinking about cost you can also high for a hundred pesos my suggestion is put a electric kettle in the room and mugs for coffie if you have that in the room people will be happy we can buy our own coffie and if you are hungry you can't also eat a cup noodles because they are no kettle

I loved the location. It was right on the beach and in the middle of an action oriented area. The room size was perfect for me being a single traveler and the price was great. The restaurant was reasonably priced and had a lot of different food options.

I saw on the reviews there were some comments about the location and access. To get to the resort, you need to do a walk along the beach as the hotel does not have an entrance from the street. I think the walk was about 100 yards through the sand. This was not a problem for me, but I can see if someone has heavy luggage on wheels, it can be a problem.

Hayahay Resort is a great place to stay, especially if you want to be right in the heart of Alona Beach. The resort is beachfront, and there's a convenient restaurant located just downstairs. It's perfect for those who want to enjoy the beach during the day and experience the vibrant nightlife in the area. The staff are very accommodating, and one of the highlights for us was the stable internet connection — ideal for those working remotely.

One thing to be aware of: guests are required to surrender their room key to the front desk whenever they leave. The key controls the electricity in the room, so each time we returned, we had to wait for the air conditioning to cool the room again. In our experience, it took about 2–3 hours to feel comfortable, and our room didn’t have proper ventilation, which made the wait a bit uncomfortable.

Having direct access on the beach area was of great value! It’s a small hotel with nice modern rooms and bathroom.

Cannot be reached by car or any transport, need to walk about 500m through sandy path with heavy suitcases, park your car 1 km away on a public parking.

Their position. They are on the Alona beach. The reception staff is kind, fair and helping. We loved them. They helped with the transfer from the airport, we arrived late in the night and to the Tagbilaran port early in the morning. They tried to help us with the sim registration but due to Wi-Fi slowness, we couldn’t. We finally got it!!! My wife R. tried and succeeded at the airport where the Wi-Fi was faster enough to get selfie registration. The wifi was not bad but slowly sometimes. The room was very basic but ok!

The room was too noisy because of the generator proximity.

The location is good for swimming away from the boats. It is next to a large resort which is convenient. Room was very clean and housekeeping attentive.

The large resort has a smoking zone that is right next to the restaurant. So be prepared for some second hand smoke. Also the restaurant staff were a little unprofessional, laughing and giggling among each other over who was going to attend each table. No management on site to reel that in. The shower pressure was a little low and the sink needed to be turned on and off at the shit off valve as the tap didn’t work. All being said reasonable value for money here.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and modern.

I found the single thin mattress too hard for me. If you are bigger person that is a side sleeper you won’t have a comfortable sleep. We also had trouble finding the place, including the taxi driver. Had to call the resort to find out where to go, which was down an alley then about 220m walk to the resort itself

The location of both buildings were good because they were right on the beach and the new building was next to Henan. the rooms and the beds were comfortable and quite clean. The internet connection was good as well! Price was great for something right on Alona beach.

The older building didn't seem very welcoming especially at the entrance. It reminded me of an entrance to a wet market. I didn't like their keyholders. They were massive and very hard to keep in your pocket if you didn't have a bag. They also couldn't be disconnected from the key itself so you had to either leave it at the front desk or bring it with you but these things were massive.

Great location. Beach front. Rooms are clean and comfy. The staffs are kind and accommodating as well. Enjoyed our stay.

It's beachfront so it's very close to the bars and restaurants along the beach. You can still hear the noise/music from the nearby bars. Fortunately, the noise is not that loud so you can still sleep comfortably.
