almost all staff were great location perfect its my second time there for long vacation and was great a special thank you for aira in a breakfast team. she was so joyful and make your day start everyday with a smile

the pool on a description of the hotel say pool with sea view but actually u are not allowed to use it because it’s belongs to hennan Alona . the only swimming pool allowed to use its that one inside Tawala and there is not view first photo it’s Tawala swimming pool second one its hennan swimming pool

Clean and spacious rooms with very comfy beds. Polite and very friendly staff! Excellent breakfast. No access to the beach but you can walk down through their sister resort, the Henann Alona Beach Resort. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay and highly recommended. We will definitely come back and next time we are over, we will book their rooms with direct access to the pool! :)

We booked 2 rooms, i was hoping to get them both next to other since we are staying as a family with young children but there was 1 room in between, not a big deal though but they could have considered.

breakfast items get completed by 09:30 max and they don’t refill the items

The breakfast is superb, mutiple choices and always served in hot. The servants will help provide hot coffee when eating on your seat. The swimming pool opens from 9:00am till 8:30pm and the bar is also on service besides the pool. Suggest to open later as it is a good place to relax for holidays.

No locker service is available. Perhaps the lockers are still broken. There is a distance between the main guestroom building to the swimming pool and Alona Beach. Suggest to provide the service for customers to go to the pools by shuttles.

Plenty of options for every nationality. The staff was excellent with their service and of course the Filipinos kindness and respect.

The wifi was not very good. Couldn't sign in easily and would not connect a lot of times.

Cozy ambience! hotel rooms are stunning

Not the property, but the beach in front of the hotel didn’t satisfy my expectation being in Panglao.

The wifi is good. The breakfast is great!

The towel card for Tawala is only accepted at Tawala, they should NOT discriminate since they are essentially the same, only the towel card (if so they should make it the same).

Breakfast was reasonably good, albeit it was suiting more to Asian tastes with various Asian meals being made available. But availability of various pastries and omlets/eggs made the breakfast experience more palatable for those who does not necessarily eat Asian dishes at the breakfast.

A range of cheese and tomato and olives would be nice.

Early checkin request was graciously granted. Hotel was very fresh and cozy. Location was superb. Breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious. Friendly and helpful staff from front desk, to bell boys, housekeepers and dining area personnel.

Noisy neighbors. We can hear thudding and clanking from room above and beside ours. The heavy closing of doors reverberates the walls. The towel custodian near the beachfront informed us on our 3rd day that tawala guests are not allowed to borrow towels there, it was solely for alona guests. We have used our towel cards at the same kiosk for the 2 previous days and it was fine. Were we supposed to walk back to tawala for towels which are exactly the same?

Facilities are excellent. Very luxurious compared to other Hotel facilities in the area. The beach bar and pool are stunning. such a relaxing place to spend time. Lounge in a beach chair on the sands of the beach, within feet of the bar for food and drink, pool bar stools to drink while cooling off in the pool…it’s heaven!

Food is so-so. Evening Buffet’s price is good but the quality is terrible. Almost everything is over-cooked, dry, and bland. But you get a lot of it!!! Also, towel policy of returning towels back to Tawala (which is a separate Building away from the beach) is extremely inconvenient. It’s not a short walk. The good thing is that you’re a short walk away, along the beach, to many great eateries, with lots of options.
