I like the fact that it felt like we had our own apartment and our own stairs to our apartment and the fact that you could cook outside except only one burner worked on the stove it would have been nice to have both working they need to keep the pool much cleaner I wouldn't go in at the whole week I was there but the owners and all the people that work there were very nice I would definitely go back and try to rent the same room

Location it's kind of a walk to everything so we ended up renting a scooter just to get around so we didn't have to walk all the time and the scooter rental is very cheap for 3 days

The room is spacious and well equipped. Having a kitchenette was very nice. While I did not cook, having plates and cutlery available allowed me to have breakfast in my room. The guesthouse is run by three sisters (the eldest is the owner) who do a great job of keeping the place spic and span. They are also friendly and very helpful. They helped organize an island tour for me. They live on the premises so they are always available. The aircon works well and is fairly quiet for a window airconditioner. Great location about a ten minute walk to the beach and a five minute walk to some nice cafes and restaurants.

The beginning of the approach road to the guesthouse (the first 50 meters or so) is a mess. Across the street from the guesthouse is some low income housing. This is not really a problem but is visually a bit of a shock when you see it for the first time. The pool is somewhat smaller than it looks in the photos. This is a family compound where they have built a few rooms to rent out, not really a hotel, so having the right expectations is important. Not fancy but everything works.

The room has a small kitchen. The hotel has a nice garden. The staff was very friendly.

It's difficult to find since it's on a narrow, dark, dirt alley.

The fridge didn't work at all, so drinking cold water after a while was not possible. I just noticed my last day when getting the luggage ready, there is no electricity some hours in the mornings. Coming back in the night, better have battery in the mobile to use the torch, no lights in the street.

Friendly host, nice and clean room and shower. Good AC. Simple, but I felt that I got good value for money. Ten minutes comfortable walk to Alona beach

The alley, in which the place is situated is not lit, therefore a bit uncomfortable walking in the dark, though I must emphasize that I never felt personal security problems. As in all Philippines, be prepared to be awaken by dog's and roosters, but somehow, I take it as a given

The room had everything we needed - even a kitchen.. Staff is friendly. Location is great - walking distance to all restaurants and shops. Our room was cleaned in between.

The noise from the street was quite loud, especially from the scooters passing by at night. The alley to the hotel is quite dark.

Big family room with 2 double beds and sofa, spacious terrace, small swimming pool.

No easy access to beach, need to make whole tour back to main road and then further to next street going to beach. Going back we took trike (100php). Faucet and Shower head needs replacement.

Basic but a clean room and had a gas stove to do some simple cooking. Location on a quiet road only 5 minutes walk to the main road in Alona with bars and restaurants. Nice small pool, perfect for a cool off day.

Very nice quiet area and at the same time close to the restaurants, shops and beach. Easy area to arrange trips or pick ups from. Cooking facilities good enough to preper some breakfast or small snack.

My BEST accomodation on my travel in all around Phillipines! I suggest the room no.5 with relaxing allmoust private silent terrace. It was my paradise compare to crowded noisiest cities.

Everything was perfect! Enjoying the silence. Just the morning roosters was little annoying. 😁
