We had a personal recommendation from a friend who had stayed here previously, so we were confident that the Alona vida beach hill hotel would suit our needs. The hotel is very clean, good sized rooms with good air conditioning and a huge comfortable bed. Good WiFi throughout the hotel ;via a voucher from reception) lovely clean pool, sun loungers and umbrellas around the pool. Nice area with pool table. There was a safe in the room for valuables and a small refrigerator with drinks and snacks. (To be paid for at reception if consumed) All the staff were very polite and friendly and reception is happy to help with booking tours and airport transfers. There were always staff on reception and a security guard. Nice additional touches such as complimentary toiletries and umbrellas being provided in the room. Location is good, a little of the main road but a couple of good cafes nearby and a short walk (10 minutes) to the beach front.

Hard to find any fault with this hotel, only the coffee at breakfast wasn’t good. If that was better I’d give this 10/10.

Great pool area with adjacent bar. Fantastic location - short walk to Alona beach but equally is off the main road, so not noisy at night. Lovely clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, good air conditioning, lockbox/safe and wifi provided. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Everything is really great. Big room, good internet, beautiful view from the balcony, pretty quiet, good service, good housekeeping, tasty breakfast with a lot of options. A lot of games in the hotel: billiards, table tennis, table football, pool.. very clean pool without chemical smell. Minuses: bad shower water temperature controller (not working at all). You can use hot water by shower or cold water by faucet in the shower. And sometimes bad smell coming from the toilet.

The rooms were clean, tidy, modern, balcony was lovely and a view of the pool. Pool was great.

The towels were thin and like blankets, the bed only had a sheet, would of been nice if there was a duvet on the bed. The bar was limited and did not have the ingredients for cocktails and shakes which was disappointing as they had a happy hour between 5-8pm. Reception lady did not have much knowledge of tours and the dinner cruise, had to research the information myself.

Very cozy anq quite place even if its in alona. So chill place specially in the evening.

Almost all good But one thing i can suggest if they can change their blankets into duvet. Then the hotel will be perfect. I dont like to sleep when my blanket is thin and they have a good aircondition ill get cold fast since of thin sheets only. So i hope the hotel can upgrade to duvet. Thats the only thing i dont like about the thin sheets or thin blankets.

Great hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, quiet and had a nice view. It was very safe with security onsite, and the room had a safe. The pool was clean and nice. The location to town and beach was walkable. I traveled with family, kids all enjoyed the pool, the bar area was great, and had a pool table. The staff here are so nice and helpful. This was a great stay!

I liked everything about this property

We arrived to this hotel without a booking. However, the price at reception was double the price than double booking via booking.com so we booked on booking.com on the spot. Rooms were lovely. We were on the ground floor so we had to keep curtains pulled as you could see directly in but not a problem for us. We didn’t have time for the pool but it seemed lovely. Great location. Close to restaurants and beach but not in the madness.

I like the fact that there's not a lot of room. We have easy access on the pool. They give free bottled waters everyday. Soap/shampoo and dental hygiene kit are provided. Coffee and kettle is available. There is also a safe for your valuables.

First of all, why not changed the curtains to something else for blinds? It is really inconvenient that the glass doors are that wide. The water in the sink has brown color, careful when washing your clothes. There is no drying rack for swim clothes. For the price, atleast a la carte breakfast should be included.

Spotlessly clean, fresh rooms right beside pool. We'll serviced and nice big rooms. Plenty charging points, safe, fridge etc. Great breakfasts which were not included in room price. Staff so helpful and friendly. Its perfect for family as quiet at night as down a side road from main street. Lovely pool, ping pong and pool activities keep kids happy! Lots of restaurants and tuk tuks outside hotel.

It's bit of a walk to beach, 15 minutes though looks much closer on map. Beach is bit hectic with lots of boats, and activity. Further down the coast can find nicer beaches but might have to pay entrance but with it for day.

great room that looks directly out onto the swimming pool. decent WiFi speeds and allows up to 4 devices to connect to it. in a Great location, just down a street that is connected to the main road. bars and restaurants nearby. 7-11 and Alona beach just 6 minute walk.

the room wasn't cleaned for 3 days, no broom for sweeping the floor, towels weren't swapped over for 3 days so they started to smell.
