This is a terrific property. It's a 6 minute walk to the beach but well worth the short walk. Located off the main road, the rooms are quiet and peaceful.The summer suite has an outdoor kitchen which was very nice to have available. There are also racks for each run too dry your swim/dive gear. Staff were very nice and helpful. Bonus- if you like mango, try the mango bingsu ice cream just a sure walk from the property (it's the I've with corn hanging in front of the shop). Delicious!!

This is such a lovely, welcoming resort. It has such a friendly and homely atmosphere, with nice gardens, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, and cosy ground floor rooms. The room was spotless and cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided for both the rooms and beach. The bed was very big and comfortable comfortable. The location was amazing, only a short walk to Alona beach and surrounded by cafes, restaurants and massage shops. I was travelling alone but felt safe and like the staff were looking out for me. Thank you for your hospitality.

My only complaint is there was limited noise proofing in the rooms, I was woken by guests arriving late at night and walking past my room. I had to sleep with earplugs each night.

This was a great start to my trip. The room was very clean, the bathroom was great with hot water although I didn’t need it bc it was so hot. I didn’t think much when they asked for my arrival time but I was so grateful when they took it upon themselves to go in the room and turn on the AC an hour before I arrived. The bed was super comfortable. The WiFi was fast. Every staff member that I interacted with was super kind. My stay was short so I didn’t make use of the pool but it looked nice. I have no complaints here!

It was good to have coffee facilities, a fridge and a place to wash dishes. Thank you for providing bottles of water and for cleaning the rooms beautifully. All reception staff provided excellent service. For example they ordered tuk tuk transport and lent me an iron.

I was very pleased with all facilities and service. I would have liked to stay longer and hope it may be possible to visit again in future.

We have so many good things to say about this place. It was maintained to an excellent standard and it felt like a home away from home. Many little details that made this place stand out—the laundry area with laundry detergent provided, being able to fill up potable water, the cutleries and plates in the room, the always freshly laundered linens and towels as well as the excellent selection of TV channels. It may not look like the fanciest resort in town but I guarantee you one of the most comfortable stays you’d have in the Philippines. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

from check-in to check out, the resort exceeded all my expectations. the staff were always polite attentive and helpful. the resort and rooms pool and garden are kept in top condition, owner is very welcoming. peaceful and quiet in the heart of Alona . thanks to all , cant wait to return , Sean from Ireland.

Sorry to wait so long to comment after the trip, the stay was an unexpectedly perfect experience. First of all, in terms of price, it is very cost-effective, cheap but safe and comfortable and has a certain degree of privacy. In terms of facilities, the equipment is very complete, even a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave oven. The facilities in the room are a little simple, but very clean, you can see the master's careful preparation. In terms of scenery, I really like the garden and the pool, the night swimming experience is good, go out in the morning and see the garden scenery makes people feel good, and it is really comfortable to sit in the garden and enjoy the beautiful scenery in the rain after playing. Most importantly, the boss and staff were very friendly and provided excellent service, helping us contact the driver and tour guide, providing a shower break after we came back from the beach, and helping us when we needed hot water... I really appreciate the people here helping us with our journey. We only have two girls, but it gives us warmth and security.

First of all, the path you enter is filled with beautiful flowers, which makes you feel happy! The staff at the reception are friendly and courteous, always greeting guests with a smile and cordiality! The room is very clean, spacious and comfortable! There is a small kitchen with a full set of utensils! There is a swimming pool and a small pavilion in the atrium, where you can play in the water and rest!

The water pressure in the bathroom is too low and the water temperature is not easy to control!

We have travelled a lot in many countries, stayed in different hotels/apartments and suppose Alona Austria to be the most cleanest place :) Fresh towels and bed linen every day. Small kitchenette with kitchen towels, new sponge and washing liquid was very clean as well. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. Guarded well-kept territory with flowers. The hotel is close to the main road, but no noise at all, we felt safe and very welcome during our stay. Dear host, thank you very much for such a wonderful place!

Limited room space to place clothes and luggage bags, very narrow pass between the bed and the bathroom wall, we put a thick towel on the corner of the bed to avoid hit with this sharp bed corner.

The resort caters to travelers' needs! Situated just 10 mins away from the beach, you can consider this place as a quiet haven because it's quite away from the road but has its own pool that you can use for whenever the Bohol heat is too much. Was able to work well too during my stay as I work remotely. The staff are soo kind and would really make sure you're taken care of. You can also request for your room to be cleaned and when they do, they clean it very well!
