Christelle and Simonè welcomed us on arrival and asked how we were every time they saw us throughout our stay. We lived with the locals with the inn set down a private road across the main road from Alona Beach. Because of its location, it was quiet and an escape from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street. There is a local store as you walk up to the inn from the main road which is perfect for water or other essentials as you head out for the day or return after your adventures. The rooms were kept faultlessly clean with comfy pillows for a good nights sleep. We would definitely start again on a return visit to Bohol!

Nothing, we loved our stay!

Very central location to the beach and surrounding restaurants, quiet (except for the occasional rooster), super clean and very comfortable, beds included. The WiFi was great too. It’s not a full service hotel or resort with a restaurant and everything else ( we didn’t need that), but it excels within its market……and the cost is very reasonable! The rooms aren’t huge, so if you’re a couple who travel heavy it may not suit, but for my friends who had a hand-carry roller and a daypack, it was fine. The bathroom is a wet-room, which is very normal in Asia. All in all, I highly recommend. Best bar for me was Max Cow, a 5-10 minute walk from Christelle. Beer is cold, staff are nice, the food is very good and the band is excellent!

The poor state of the 200 m long service alley off the main road is a constant mention. You wouldn’t want to walk it with luggage…..use a transfer service on arrival and departure. Outside of that, it’s free be.

Christelle and Simon were superb hosts. Very attentive and welcoming to their modern inn. They gave advice on sights outside of the normal tourist route which is exactly what we were after. The room had a VERY large and comfy bed that we crashed in after our big scooter adventure to Loboc, Chocolate Hills, Tarsier Sanctuary, waterfalls and more. They would bring us cold water each day when we returned along as restocking the complimentary coffee & tea station in our room. Small fridge in the room if we need to keep anything cold too. Location was an easy short walk to Alona Beach restaurants and shops. We wish we could have stayed longer as the location and their hospitality was amazing.

The landlord was very friendly and helped to deal with a lot of things, including motorcycle rental, dock pickup, etc. When we were in panglao, we rented two 125cc motorcycles, which made it convenient for us to go to a lot of places. One rainy day, we needed to go out for dinner, and the landlord also took the initiative to lend us two big umbrellas. If you want to have a perfect stay in Bohol, then this hotel is highly recommended. Ice water, tea, coffee and biscuits are also provided each morning, which allows us to refuel after each evening's outing or before each morning's outing. The hotel is also very clean, there is plenty of hot water, we can have a good bath, and there is also a drying rack at the door for us to dry our wetsuits.If I go to panglao again boz i haven't see the whaleshark coz we get up too late that day 😂😂，i will still live in Chritelle INN.😬😬

My husband and I have been traveling for almost 4 months and this is the only time in the 4 months where we both felt sad to leave. The owners are so nice and helpful even woke up at 430am to make sure our Tuk Tuk was there to pick us up. Now for the room, it’s spacious, quite, the bed and bedding is so comfortable, AC works great and what we loved is when you leave the room for the day and turn off the AC when we would come back the room was still nice & cool so we felt instant relief when we would walk in even though the AC was turned off for hours, Hot Water when needed and so CLEAN! I love that they provided us with cold drinking water in a glass jar(not plastic) every single day! We stayed for 4 nights and wished we would’ve stayed longer. If it’s available definitely book it!

Honestly the only thing I would suggest would be to have refillable shampoo & body wash instead of the single use. But again everything else is perfect!

Very welcoming hosts who helped with any questions we had and were quick to organise our laundry for us as well as store the bags when we arrived early and checked out late. A quiet location which lead to a great sleep during our stay, but close to walk to everything in Alona Beach.

Not the property’s fault but as others have mentioned the road to the property can get muddy when it rains making it a bit slippery and difficult to access, but there’s always a tricycle to avoid this!

Good variety of facilities with famous brand, hairdryer, refrigerator,air conditioner, safety box, complete coffee bar,good wifi, spacey room, with toiletries, room was clean and housekeeping did every day, reasonable price, safe inside, but dark outside nighttime, we ask for more towels and Simon gave us, in all nice experience and happy to book there

Simon was nice and polite host but he didn't answer phone or message after 9:30 pm, I think because there is no front desk in home stay or inn, host should be more available, especially in first night, I want to book a countryside tour with them, because of delay in confirmation although driver Romel was nice and attentive, we missed ATV & chocolate hill visiting because of Romel bad time management too, of course the day later we leave to Tagbilaran port and Romel was on time and everything was good. The other issue we didn't like is rocky way to reach inn, two times tricycles denied to enter in we should go on foot No restaurant inside

Very nice couple renting the rooms with a lot of advice for restaurants and places to go, easy and quick communication via booking. The room was very clean, cozy, well equipped and modern. Free coffee, water and house keeping every day. Located very close to Alona center but far enough to get rid of the noise.

The path from the main road to the accommodation is very bad and there are nearly no lights. So walk careful in the dark! We rented a scooter at another place so we didn't have to drive that really bad and bumpy road. Nothing the accommodation could be held responsible for.

Really lovely guesthouse. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We got snacks and cold water each day. It was in a good location but the last bit of road is very bumpy.

We had a few issues with the WiFi which the owners were very apologetic about - it was a provider problem which couldn't be fixed over the holiday weekend unfortunately. This was nothing that affected our stay and we'd stay there again.

The room generally.. It is nice and clean.. I could say that the bathroom is better than the other hotel i've been... The location is just walking distance from alona beach, very near to the convenience store, spa, restaurants. I'm happy with my stay in christelle inn.

There is a construction beside the property, it's a little bit noisy even at night.. But I understand that is not controllable by the owner of christelle inn
