Staff were well spoken, efficient and helpful. The room was gorgeous - comfy beds and good layout (they also had a turn down service!!). The Restaurants all served delicious foods. The Spa was lovely (and smelled amazing). The pools and amenities were all pristine and managed well. The complimentary services such as Morning yoga (Wed/Sat) and the free cocktail hour on Wednesday and Fridays was delightful. The location was unbeatable! It was private, yet had connections to the public beach and private cove. The security was very good also. 10/10

Came here for a family get away and this place was magical. The grounds are beautiful with so much greenery. We got a one bedroom villa which was perfect for a family of 4. The rooms were clean and nicely set up. We had a basket of fresh fruit, cookies and a welcome dessert waiting for us. All staff members were welcoming and courteous. It is minutes from alona beach and shops/restaurants. It was the best part of our trip...we definitely recommend and hope to come back.

The only complaints I have are that our TV did not work and despite the high ceilings the we had noisy stepping guests upstairs- luckily they we only had to deal with the noise one night.

The food was good but pricier than elsewhere on the beach. Breakfast was good with a variety of local and western style fare available. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. The pools were very nice and views spectacular at sunset. We came for the diving and the dive shops were all a short walk from the hotel.

Some parts of the hotel seemed dated and in need of attention, but this didn’t really detract from our enjoyment. The shared entrances were an issue as if you were in some of the rooms other guests had to walk by really quite close and this impacted privacy.

Overall, this place is fantastic! I particularly loved the beautiful gardens and the excellent spa services. I stayed in a villa, which was lovely and very comfortable; however, given the price, I expected it to include a view of the sea. The access to the beach was excellent, and the services offered throughout the property were outstanding. One of the swimming pools was amazing, offering a stunning view of the beach, which I thoroughly enjoyed, specially the sunset. The other pool, however, could use a bit more maintenance to match the high standard of the rest of the property

I expected a better selection of fresh fruits, especially in a location like this. The pineapples were not ripe enough to serve, there were no mangoes in a country where mango is considered a staple, and the bananas were far from the best quality. It would have been nice to see a wider variety of fresh, high-quality fruits. While the breakfast overall was good, it didn’t quite meet the expectations of a 4-star establishment. There were limited options for guests with dietary needs, such as lactose-intolerant individuals, which was disappointing.

Really nice and spacious rooms. Really chilled and relaxed vibe. Breakfast was fantastic and staff was superb. They couldn’t be nicer people. Everyone at the hotel made us feel very welcome. Solid 10 for staff attention. They really took time to make us feel like family. Special shout out to Hanzel, he’s a superstar, friendly and such a nice guy. Every morning he made coffee for us before our gym workout as soon as he saw us stepping in the restaurant. Absolutely recommend Amorita to anyone visiting Bohol/Panglao. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely nothing

Staff were amazing and the spa treatments were great. Good location just off the beach so really quiet but you can easily walk to the busy areas. Breakfast buffet and food options was of good standard with variety and the resort and pools were lovely.

As 3 adults travelling booking a twin room, the room wasn’t made up for 3 when we arrived and the double beds were very small for two to share which was what we had intended to do. So if you’re 3 friends travelling together the twin room isn’t made for 3 even though it allows it.

Loved the location, swimming pools and staff. We were going to stay 3 nights but extended by a whole week! Great for relaxation, snorkelling, drinks... I would give score of 10 but restaurants were not very good for vegetarians. The restaurant by the main poor had next to nothing. Even the buffet breakfast was limited.

Excellent staff service for most part and consistent when compared to my previous visit, except that I had to follow up for refreshments while waiting to be checked-in during my most recent visit. The exclusivity of the resort is one of its main selling point. Not much crowd nor passerbys as compared to other resorts in the area. Wide open spaces means you can have some quiet spot to yourself. Ala-carte food in Saffron are very good.

The resort now feels dates to some extent. Some upgrades are overdue, such as the door. Would be more convenient is they use access cards instead of actual keys. The property cannot provide extra set of keys. Gym equipment are quite dated and very limited. Needs to be “modernized”. There are no sanitary wipes in the gym. Pool access closes relatively early (9pm). Better extend it to 10pm for those who wants to take a dip after having dinner. Breakfast option though high quality, needs more options. There is not much traditional Filipino dishes which can be disappointing for returning Filipino guests from abroad (as with our group) who are craving such food.

The best part about Amorita aside from the amenities and the extremely accessible location, is by far the staff. The hospitality we experienced here is world class. From the moment you enter the van going to the resort to the moment you check-out, everyone here is so warm, kind, friendly, and can answer any and all of your needs in a snap. They are the biggest reason we recommend Amorita to friends and family, as well as to future travelgoers in Panglao Island. Of course, we can't forget about how close Amorita is to Alona Beach, which is a public beach for all, and they have free activities to enjoy upon booking such as archery, yoga at dawn (Wed and Sat only), biking, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle-boarding, etc. They also have two infinity pools with amazing views of the sea, so you can't be left wanting. The spa is also another A+ experience for us, with bang-for-buck services and relaxation all around. We went twice to get two different massages and we were pleased every time.

They don't have a lot of choices for food on the property itself. Saffron resto is where you go to have breakfast, and while the breakfast buffet is good enough for the price, the rest of the menu is decent but way too expensive for what you get. The Lost Cow was another shockingly expensive restaurant on the property, but the food there was much more delicious despite the high price range. If you want more wallet-friendly choices, you'll need to walk along Alona Beach and find restaurants there. This isn't so much a complaint, so much as it is a by-the-by, to prepare for your trip.

Absolutely exceptional, by far the best place I’ve ever stayed. And surprisingly affordable too. Beautiful grounds which are landscaped exceptionally well, stunning room, great facilities including multiple pools and free activities. And a small army of friendly and attentive staff. Amorita also has a couple of absolutely top-tier restaurants, the food is plentiful and exceptionally good. Plus location is perfect, private access to, and stunning view of Alona Beach, 10 minutes travel from the airport. You will not be disappointed with this one!
