I was travelling for work, and I was overjoyed with the room: spacious, modern, clean with super comfortable bed, pillows - all best quality! The room was beautifully furnished, with a cozy feeling but modern. The chairs were comfortable, great feeling! TO SUM UP: Great bed, great pillows, super big room and bathroom, super comfortable room. FANTASTIC attention from the staff during morning breakfast (kitchen, waiters), I had so many vegan options presented for me, that I was shocked, there was wide variety of choices.

When I came to the restaurant for the dinner and asked if I can order something with room delivery, the waiter insisted that they give me plates in the restaurant. OK. Sounded reasonable until I found myself carrying two plates with food to the elevator, that could not be started until you pressed your room card at the reader inside the elevator. I was standing there with two plates in both hands, thinking which one to put on the floor in order to get the elevator started. Very strange feeling, I could not understand why no-one could help me to take the food to the room ?!

Great location next to NOSPR, beautiful view. Comfortable bed. Clean room with everything we needed. Stuff at the reception was very polite and helpful but unfortunately you can not say the same about the waiters at the restaurant.

The radio had a preset clock and the alarm woke us up at 7AM we had problems with turning it off soit rang again at 7:09 than the radio started to play. Terrible morning when you want to relax.

My wife and I chose Marriott for our romantic vacation in Katowice. The hotel is located in an excellent location, the room was spacious and sparkling clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was awesome - bacon, eggs, beans, fruits, vegetables, Marriott has it all. We were surprised by a special bottle of wine sent to us from the hotel with a card wishing us a great romantic vacation :-) In the first evening, when we wanted to take a shower, we discovered the water are not going down the drain. We called the reception and although it was past 21:00, a few minutes later, a maintenance man arrived and fixed it very fast - excellent service!!!

All was perfect

We booked a stay for 9 people in the hotel as it offers a great view and a convenient location and it's a Marriott which sets a standard in itself. We enjoyed our stay - the rooms were quite spacious and modern, and the housekeeping staff was very attentive and meticulous. Breakfast at the hotel was superb, the spread selection was very good offering a huge variety of dishes for carnivores and vegetarians. It's also based on the 27th floor and offers great views of the city.

There were a few concerns which we addressed with the manager. We regularly stay in hotels and stayed in Courtyard hotels in the past and had certain expectations, especially from the front office team in our experience - it just wasn't dedicated, proactive or customer-centric which should be a given in the XXI century. While I am Polish and used to this standard of service, I think it can be a turn-off for some (it was for us).

The TV services were not working at all. It was impossible to connect to the room TV, as the service for connectivity was not working (tv.marriott.com)

Very clean and nice hotel in a great location. Close to all the major points in Katowice. Breakfast is very nice with a good view and the staff in bar 27th floor are fantastic. Especially the bartenders

Outlook, spacious living room and bathroom, lighting, excellent view from 25th floor, fantastic breakfast, very nice staff.

Quite expensive. Non-openable windows (which, however, is standard in modern hotels, in particular in tall buildings).

Our suite on the 25th floor was excellent. Lots of space. Fantastic views. Nice interior design. A comfortable large bed. Excellent breakfast with a spectacular view from the 27th floor.

Mini bar not stocked. It wasn't easy to get the room service, so had to go two floors up to the 27th floor restaurant to get some stuff to my room. I wish there was a bathtub not just shower.

Great Hotel, nice gym and fitness centre next door, included with stay. Real gym, heavy weight training possible. Would return just to use the gym. 10 min walk to main train station. Nice restaurants nearby and great view on the 27th floor bar/restaurant.

The room was really spacious and clean. The view is just like the pictures, stunning. The bathroom has all you need, only flip flops were missing but we called the reception and they brought us a pair in like 2'. The people were very kind (not only the reception girls but also the staff that works in 27th floor). Not to mention the breakfast that it's super, delicious and in wide variey. It's perfect, I definately would stay again!
