I booked the room upon arrival at Poznan train station; and everything was ready for me when I arrived soon after. I was very tired upon arrival after a long flight and several hours on the railway, but the receptionist made me feel welcome, I had a good night rest. The hotel was built in 1930s and still has some flavour of that time, but everything was functional and brought certain nostalgia.

Construction noise woke me up quite early :(

It has a little restaurant in house serving local dishes in the evening and a continental buffet breakfast. It's in a suburban area just outside Poznan, so very peaceful. Rooms are a little dated but well equipped. Massive comfy bed. Super cheap compared to others in the area.

Beer garden is under construction at the moment.

Location was ideal as I was attending the football match between Lech Poznan and Legia. There is a local Zabke, Mcdonalds and supermarket close by. There is a lot of parking available. My room was a good size and bed was comfortable. Kettle and hairdryer provided also.

On entering the room there was a funny smell like the drains had been backed up. The plug in the sink was broken as well so the water wasn't going away.

so room was fantastically clean! for me clean room number is the most important thing if you are staying somewhere outside the home! hotel gromada is not fresh hotel, I would say it’s 2000 style, but they doing their best! location is good, it’s dormitory area, the train station 4 mins walk and you can get to city center in 15 mins. they also do have parking! everything good thank you!

Cheap and cheerful hotel. I checked in here at night (2am) and there was a lady at the desk, happy to check me in and hand over the keys. The breakfast was GREAT. Especially for the value. Buffet style, with loads of delicious Polish food, hot and cold options, with coffee and drinks too. A perfect start to the day.

Breakfast was very good, the room was clean and quiet, there was enough parking space in front of the hotel in a secure parking lot, personel spoke english quite well and helped with planing a sightseeing tour in the city.

It was quite humid and warm in the room, AC could have been great for the summer, but we used the fan and had to open the windows to the mosquitoes, which had an intense and motivated Polish character as well.

Very clean and quiet place

The restaurant downstairs is a rip off! Avoid at all cost! The pics on their website are misleading! Food was bland overpriced and super small portions. Terrible it’s better to order uber eat!

no fridge in the room - it was exceptionally hot, could have done with cold drinks rather than room temperature ones; there could have been a better choice of teas

Stayed twice in a weeks visit to Poland to go to 4 "The Hardkiss" concerts in different cities, the second of which was in Poznan, then found out another group I wanted to see were playing in Poznan towards the end of my week, so immediately booked another nights stay in this hotel. Easy to reach from the city centre by tram (very regular, and cheap), only a few minutes walk from the tram stop to the reception. Nice , clean hotel, comfortable bed, and the breakfast was very tasty (something I don't normally bother with, but glad I did this time !)

Keycards rather than keys would be nice, but honestly that's a tiny thing, and in some ways it's kind of part of it's old charm.
