The Kamienica is a good choice for a budget room with breakfast near the centre of Poznan. It is clean and quiet with a reasonable variety of food for breakfast. It is situated about halfway between the railway station and the main square - ten or fifteen minutes on foot either way.

The room is on the third floor (more rooms on the fourth floor, I think) with no lift so not so great with suitcases. The room was fine but a little dark. The shampoo/shower gel containers in the shower and by the sink were empty although there was some hand soap in a different container.

Exceptional breakfast. Perfect location. Very friendly staff. Home atmosphere. The bulding is of "altbau" style, which is a plus for those who want to feel the vibe.

The bulding is of "altbau" style, which means no elevator up to the fourth floor and very poor sound proofing with regard to floor, doors and plaster walls that arranged the flats into seperate rooms. Have in mind that private access to public bathroom may mean that you will have to cross the public corridor in order to get to the bathroom.

Nice location in the old building with a view on the castle. Good breakfast, there is a small play area for kids in the dinning room on the 4th floor and high chairs for kids. Easy checkin and checkout.

The doors are a bit old and sometime it is bit tricky to open/close. I think it can be a bit cold in winter times

Only one pillow on the bed, not so good for reading. Also could have done with the instructions for getting in a lot earlier, however the staff member was very helpful when I phoned. Some of the problem was with my phone but if I'd received the info a day or 2 earlier by email there would have been no problem.

Self-check in without any problem, they reserved us parking place. Breakfast was very good, room was clean and quite big.

The only problem we had was with beds - they were not much stable (moving apart) and they were not comfortable for us and our baby (we did not receive baby bed) and our son should sleep between us (unfortunately bed were devided) and in fact he had to sleep with me on one regular bed.

The location is good, 15 minutes from the main station and then 15 minutes to the Main Square. The room on the fourth floor was spacious, clean and comfortable and the shower worked and had hot water. There was no carpet on the floor but the floorboards did not creak. The breakfast is very good with plenty of choice and the staff on site in the morning are very friendly and helpful. I received a text as to how to check-in. I misread the instructions but the text gave a contact number and the staff were very patient on the phone in helping me to enter the building and retrieve the key.

There isn’t a lift. I was OK in carrying my bag up and down the stairs to the fourth floor but I may struggle when in my 70s.

Beautiful apartment in a picturesque building. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was very stylish and comfortable, with lovely art-deco style furniture. Very tasty breakfast with variety of food to choose from (including hot dishes) and good coffee machine coffee. Great restaurant/cafe downstairs. Great location in the heart of Poznań. I highly recommend.

The bathroom is an inner-room addition (quite common solution in historic buildings) so it is a little small and well isolated from the rest of the room, which might be a bit intimidating (especially when room sharing with coworkers rather than family). But not in any kind of terrible way.

no elevator, but it's indicated in the description, so it was known beforehand. I'd also like a full size mirror so I can check my outfit, how I look before leaving but it's a minor issue

The location is very close to the city center area. The room was very big, more than anticipated. The breakfast was humble but very tasty.

Sometimes noise coming from the street (fast and furious cars sometimes driving right under the windows). The bathroom could get some repairs (for example, shower not draining)
