I stayed at Hotel Metropol in pre Covid days. It was good then, and nothing has changed. The welcome was friendly when I checked in. My room was spacious and clean, breakfasts and dinners were good. For a city centre hotel, the cost was good too. As for location, this hotel is well situated. The old town is about 40 minutes walk away. Tram and bus stops are close by, and the metro station is across the road, as is the bus stop for the Chopin airport, which is about 30-40 minutes away and costs less than 1€/£1 per person. As the hotel is at the junction of east/ west and north/south tramlines, which is also a busy road junction, traffic noise starts to build up from 05.00 hours. In my room, at least, earplugs were provided, a thoughtful touch. I would definitely stay there again.

This isn't a dislike, but potential guests should be aware that the bar closes early, 21.00 hours. That gives people the option to explore nearby local bars or those on Nowy Swiat, about ten minutes walk away.

Love the location but awful for noise 6am traffic beeping siren noise from police starting early morning . Wouldn't really recommend if you're a light sleeper

Everything was excellent! They changed our towels every day, the staff were extremely helpful and the location was perfect! The room was quite big for two people and it even included a small couch (in addition to the two beds) The location was great! Right next to the tram and metro station (tram gets you everywhere in Warsaw and we were in the Old town within 10-15 minutes). Warsaw Train Station was around in walking distance... it took us 8 minutes to get there while holding all our luggage.

There was a lot of noise outside because the location is very busy (all shopping centers are around there), but they provided earplugs .

The location is good, within less than 800m of walking distance. The room facilities except the bathroom are also good enough for a budge Traveller. Cleanness is not too bad though, but I still can find dusts and hair somewhere. The shower was the nightmare to me, when staying there for 3 nights. The water temperature kept shifting between hot and cold, too annoying! Last, breakfast was good. No fridge was equipped. Night noise was not bearable at all (tram railways, horns and engines from traffic, ambulances and police cars). If you do want a quality sleep, locations not too far from the central railway station but not on the main roads may be better.

Bathroom and shower were too annoying as the temperature was shifting between hot and cold. I don’t know outside noises from traffic and tram were constant or occasionally at the weekend(I stayed on Fri till Sun). I can’t have quietness until very early morning every night during the entire stay.

The location is excellent, with easy access to both buses and trains — very convenient. While some traffic noise was noticeable, the hotel provided earplugs, though we didn’t end up needing to use them. All the staff were wonderful, not just the front desk team but also the housekeepers. Although we didn’t have breakfast during this stay, we did a few days prior and had a fabulous experience.

The window advertisements. While I understand they might help reduce noise, I would have preferred to enjoy the view outside rather than having to look through the ads.

The hotel is located right next to the metro stop Centrum as well as between several bus and tram stops, so location is spot on! There's a direct tram to the center and a bus to the airport. The Palace of Culture and Science is just a few minutes away as well as the train central station. The hotel was modern and the breakfast was quite varied, lots of choices. The room was on the fourth floor and when we visited there was construction going on right in front of the hotel so noise was a bit loud. But the hotel provided ear plugs if necessary. Staff was always pleasant. The price was average, there were cheaper options but the location made this hotel a better choice!

Good sized bed, clean sheets, comfy. Super clean room and bathroom. Good size shower and good water pressure. Carpet throughout, personally not a fan, but it's fine. Night reception on Thursday was fabulous. Breakfast was fine, coffee is so so, but I am a bit of a coffee snob, to be honest. Brilliant location, can't get any closer to the city center than this. I found it funny that there were earplugs by the bed, but with traffic in city center I can see how that is needed for some people.

All good, I was only there for 2 nights, good value for what I needed. No aircon, but window can be opened.

Easy access to anywhere in this city by public transport, few minutes walks away from the Metro Centrum. Good Hotel, and provided free water by the machine. Great lighting enivorment in the hotel room, and lovely views from my room. Polish Breakfast Buffet are really interseting compared to British, lovely coffees. Lots of varity options within Polish Breakfast cusinie.

Morning's Shower Tempurtue is not smootly, as water pressue like normal then very hot then cold then warm etc. Sleep Pillow needed to be bigger, was very thick ones during my stay. No Toaster for breakfast, and the waitress/waiter staffs attuide is not respectful in the breakfast time without ask me if I check if my food is finished or my cup is finished etc. It would be great if they ask me if my food or cup is finished. Bar closed at 10pm, no late drinks orders between 10pm to 1am if needed a beer before heading to sleep upstairs. Very disappointed.

Location was amazing. Right in the center of Warsaw. Easy access to Trams and Buses to take you anywhere you want in the city. Room was very clean, can call reception when you want/need to have your room cleaned as well. Staff were very catering and courteous and were always eager to help us and ensure we had a pleasant stay. Great to have water filling stations on each floor with a jug in the room for filling.

Some construction noise in the morning, but that's out of the Hotels control.. The Hotel even provided earplugs in each room for guests as they were aware that it might be an issue. I'd really be nitpicking to find any other issues with our stay.

The room was excellent, very spacious, clean, modern, and renovated. The beds were very comfortable. The water cooler in the hallway was pleasant surprise - you can always pour fresh water. The balcony, although covered with a commercial, was very nice to feel the vibe from the city. The location is absolutely perfect- in the center of everything! The elevators were fast. The breakfast was good, especially for people who prefer healthy way of living. The receptionists were helpful.

The sewage system was awful, don't know if it was up to the hotel or it was like that in whole city but it was slow and with no capacity. Although in general, the receptionists were very polite and helpful, the other staff was kind of not interested. Not rude or not polite but not so kind like in hotels in other cities.
