Location, helpful staff, restaurant.

It would have been better if the presentation on Booking.com made clear there two sides to the hotel - older and newer, side by side, with very different rooms.

The central location, the elegance of the building, the kindness and politeness of the employees, those at the reception in particular.

Noisiness during the night, however, one cannot put a blame to the hotel for it, for one should have been simply asking a quiet room when booking the room in the first place.

The hotel is in an excellent location right in the centre with most sightseeing attractions within easy walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was rich and varied, and in a relaxed atmosphere. Rooms were well equipped, and we found everything that we would have expected in this category. The hotel is slightly old-fashioned, which gives it a particular charm.

We had some problems to work out the bedside lights which didn't always work. The air conditioning was temperamental and did not respond to setting changes. The room tended to be too warm, and reducing the temperature at the control panel did not seem to make any difference. I would have wished for a secure internet connection.

Excellent location easy walk to Christmas Market and other sights. Spacious rooms. Hot showers, comfortable beds, nice breakfast. Private parking garage with friendly concierge to help guide us and he also helped with luggage. Reception staff very kind and spoke English fluently. Breakfast had delicious crossaints and good selection.

Windows did not seal well and there were no shutters, so there was a lot of street noise until about midnight. This didn't bother us as we were up late. While restaurant atmosphere was lovely and servers were attentive, dinner menu had limited selection with too many mushrooms on everything.

Very friendly staff. Kids friendly. They have extra menu for kids, cosmetics and water. Our kid gave them a point ;) The location is perfect. Parking you have to communicate with the property before you arrive to reserve a parking spot in their parking place. Otherwise you can park on the street.

The breakfast was very expensive. A kid of 4 should have pay the whole price. We decided to have a breakfast outside in the city center. There are a lot of nice coffee shops.

The breakfast was not only very good; in contrast to many hotels, the breakfast buffet is in a nice high-ceiling room in an old building, giving a much better breakfast experience than most hotels. Excellent location 2 min walking distance to beatiful central square. Overall a good experience

I did not manage to heat the room. It was October and a bit chilly in the night. I understood I was supposed to use the air conditioning for heating. I could not figure out how to do it. It seemed not to work and the reception was not very helpful. Not sure whether it was just me... However, otherwise the staff was very friendly! And I managed finally to sleep without heating. To be on the safe side I would not book it in winter. Otherwise everything was perfect though.

* The hotel is located ideally for any touristic activities. * The room is well equipped with everything needed. * The breakfast is great with a broad range of dishes and beverages. * The staff is friendly and easily available whenever needed.

* There are only some minor things we would like to be improved: - Breakfast time at weekends. Most hotels we know offer breakfast until 11.00 hours; this hotel only to till 10.00 hours. - Too less power sockets; it was a bit complicated to use the notebook computer and to charge the smartphones, tablet, etc.

The location was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was spacious and clean.

The breakfast should have been included in the room price. The room could have been cozier. The only dinner we had at the hotel restaurant was not good at all (beetroot soup, vegan curry and spinach ravioli), but luckily there are many restaurants around.

The room design was consistent with antique-like furniture which gave it a nice atmosphere. It had decent amenities with slippers and free water. Location is also great right next to the town square, with access to many restaurants and bars nearby.

The parking space has a very narrow width, and required mind-breaking caution when entering and exiting. The air conditioner is also low-power, which feels somewhat insufficient when returning from a hot day outside. It was fine when going to sleep, once the heat has resided.
