In general I liked the stay. I love such hotels, with a vibe of vintage interiors, so I didn't even mind the absence of AC. The staff were very nice and the housekeeping did a great job. The breakfast was really delicious. The location of the hotel is really convenient - just near the railway station and a couple of minutes walking for the central street.

Breakfast is a bit too late for hikers. It would be great if it started at 7, not 8. The spa was disappointing. Water in the pool was way too cold, 25C tops. The shower cabins don't have doors and face a shared hallway with a water cooler, so if you want to take off your swimsuit and clean off the chlorine - others will have to enjoy the view of naked you :))) Some towels were worn out and needed replacement. And there were too many children who behaved very actively, splashing water around and even jumping off the borders, which is kinda prohibited but nobody stopped them.

The location is excellent. Convenient parking. Rooms are spacious. Staff is courteous and nice. Above all is the breakfast. Best breakfast ever. The breakfast is varied. All products are fresh. The breakfast area is calm and inviting. Staff is excellent, especially Izabela. Pool and spa facilities are super.

The first room we were given was relatively small and faced the main road. The room had no air conditioning, so you had to open the window. The noise from the road meant we barely slept the first night. We asked to move rooms, and the problem was solved. Parking shouldn't cost 49 pln.

A lovely small hotel (54 bedrooms) - with old world charm. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Facilities were great, with a decent size swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi as well as other spa details. Food was excellent - the breakfast buffet was amazing with almost too much choice. Evening meals were plentiful and very tasty. Rooms were very comfortable - we had a balcony which was lovely to sit on with a drink and watch the sunset. Towelling robes and slipon slippers were provided and towels were a good size. The room even had a shoe horn which was very helpful!. Hotel was a short walk to the railway and bus station and it was only a short walk into the main town. Would definitely recommend staying here

Excellent breakfast, close to Zakopane train station, beautiful and well-maintained building. For travelers with toddlers - a clean and well-maintained playground. Additionally, we had to catch an early train and were going to miss breakfast, but the hotel staff kindly prepared lunch boxes for us to take on our journey. They included sandwiches, fruit, drinks, and snacks - which was very thoughtful and much appreciated.

At first, I was given a room that didn’t meet expectations - it was a small, stuffy attic room on the top floor. However, as soon as I raised the issue, the staff were very helpful and quickly moved me to a larger, more comfortable room. I really appreciated their responsiveness and willingness to help - so in the end, it turned out to be a positive experience! 😊

This hotel has been an amazing discovery for me. I'm truly baffled that it has only four stars, for my stay has definitely been a five-star experience! Here are some of the highlights: - Very convenient location -- close to the railway and bus station; yet no associated extraneous noise was present - Speaking about noise -- soundproofing in the rooms is great - The interior of the hotel is rather fancy -- they kept some of the antique elements (since this is a hotel with a history), and renovated where necessary. The sliding wooden doors at the entrance truly underscore the design fusion in the hotel - The room was large and comfortable, and the bed was, as my wife said, "difficult to get out of" :) since the mattress was so soft - The breakfast had a broad selection of both the drinks, the foods and the desserts. One noteable feature was beetroot juice -- something I've never had in any other hotel before. A very nice drink for the digestive system! - The hotel staff were extremely helpful. Since we visited Zakopane for my wife's birthday, and planned a couple of events, they provided us with a small, but pleasant gift, and helped with a lot of minor preparations

There is truly nothing negative to say about this hotel. Probably the only thing I noticed were scratches on the elevator door, but that's not the hotel's fault -- I'm guessing it's mostly the guests, or some kind of vintage decoration. To future guests -- please, don't scratch the elevator doors!

Didn’t do much research before our trip but when we got to the hotel we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of staff and the grand property. The hotel has the old fashioned feel but it’s very modern in its approach to customer service , menu and spa services. Our room was huge and always smelled lovely. The location is perfect - only 4 mins walk from the main station. The staff were superb - friendly and very helpful. We’ve also had one of the best vodka martinis which is not an easy cocktail to get right. The chef is very good too, the food was superb . Our room was ready way before check in so we were able to use it early .

One of the best hotels in Zakopane, situated in a central part, but not too close to the extremely noisy main walking street. The building itself is a historical one, perfectly maintained, and exceptionally projected with a strong spirit of the "great past world". It is aesthetically attractive inside and out, even more important is that one can feel real history inside, not imitation. The staff is very helpful, the car parking in the backyard is large enough, and the prices are reasonable.

No air conditioner in the rooms, on a sunny day it is quite hot in the sunnyside room. There is no shelf in a shover cabin.

The standard of this hotel is exceptional. The room was very spacious and perfectly clean. Very comfortable and extra large bed with variety of pillows. Good quality bathrobes were supplied and complimentary products in the bathroom. The breakfast was outstanding with an unbelievable amount of choices. The best hotel breakfast I have ever had. The location was perfect, minutes from the rail/bus station and only a short walk to the centre of Zakopane. The bus station is so convenient to get to all the attractions in the area and very reasonably priced.

the parking surcharge. I was not expecting it from a grand hotel, usually parking is free for such an expensive hotel. The price paid was high enough in my opition. The hotel is very old, I think it is above 100 years old. It shows - no convenient access for disabled persons or while carrying heavy suitcases. No elevator access to the basement dining room. The staff forgot to clean the room and arrived only at 5pm when it was not convenient to us to clean. The next day they did no come till 2-3pm so I asked by phone to come and clean.
