On the other hand - no kitchen or even kettle. Very special concept of breakfast when the guest may eat only 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese :)

It has a wonderful view to the island Pico-We had the room with terrace which made it quite comfortabel. The rooms got cleaned every day and it was very clean everywhere. The breakfast was like you can expect in a youth hostel- we had to remind the stuff quite often to fill the milk, bread or other things. But In the end there was enough food. The coffee should called coffee. I changed to black tea which was regional and tasty. Just a few metres from the youth hostel there was a supermarket which was good. Unfortunately there was no kitchen or fridge to use. The natural swimming pool at the camp site (around 15minutes walk) was great and the restaurant has delicious food.

There was no kitchen or fridge to use which is often common in youth hostels. The view was amazing but there was always a walk to do to get to the bus or to the swimming. With kids And without a car it is a bit exhausting.

Amazing staff, beautiful location, great value for money, privacy, comfort, space, cleanliness! The staff, again, were so kind and helpful. I am very happy with my choice.

very nice hostel, the single/double rooms are actually hotel-like rooms. Very clean and quiet, beautiful view. The hostel is not in the "center" of Calheta , but it has a big supermarket very close, a restaurant, and also a beautiful natural pool in a walking distance ( 10-15 mins) . The port is about 20 min walk so if you have heavy luggage better take a taxi. There is a steep climb to do, albeit short. I can recommend to young / fit people, after all it is an hostel

They have very good prices and the hostel is amazing. You can see the ocean and Pico island from the windows. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast was great as well.

For that price you can't get same or similar or anywhere else on the island. And since our flight was cancelled this was the only and surprisingly very good option. We had private bathroom also.

Beds are a little bit worn out. And wifi only works in the loby.

Clean, quiet, air con, breakfast included, and for fair price...I absolutely do not understand why they are rated only 7,2. It is fantastic! Cant complain.

I came in October and there were only 3 people in the whole hostel. So the staff gave me a private room, what was very friendly of them

I had a group of American people and the AC was the issue, I didn’t realize that the property had no AC when I booked it.
