The breakfast was amazing. The room very nice. Only problem the room was facing the square where people congrated until the early hrs.

Great location close to everything, great staff, clean, comfortable, AC was already on when we checked in so room was already cool and remained cool our entire stay. A mini fridge was great to store our drinks and snack foods that need refrigeration. Spacious bathroom, walk in shower big as well with built-in soap dish and towel rack. Double sink with hand towel rack. They have a cool soap dispenser where you just push it on the side of it, nothing I've seen before ( I had to figure out what it was and how to use it). Room with lots of different lights you can use. And I think a call button by the shower and at bedside if you need help. The emergency evacuation plan was illuminated at night - looks like glow in the dark so you can see it when its dark. Great breakfast as well. Staff was responsive and accomodating and we were able to leave our bags before check in.

The socket for charging phones is on the bottom or lower part of the wall so not convenient when you are on the bed since it's not bed height level. Maybe and extra shelf for toiletries in lieu of the bidet in the bathroom.

Amazing hotel with a fantastic room overlooking the square which was fantastic as the Braga Romana festival was on and we could watch the artists on stage from our room, we also got there in time to be able to park outside. This hotel is right in the centre of things, there is only six parking spaces outside the hotel which are free but if they have all gone there's a multi storey secure car park opposite. Furthermore the staff on the desk were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you.

Everything. Staff were fantastically helpful, the hotel felt cozy even though I think it is quite big. We arrived very late for breakfast as we had been travelling all day the previous day but there appeared to have been a great selection.

Nothing. Some people may consider the lack of parking a negative but they have a great arrangement with a local parking company with a great 24 hour rate. The only thing that could have made it better is a little fridge in the room

The hotel was very clean and close to everything. Beautiful sights, souvenir shops and tasty restaurants were all in walking distance. I loved the spacious bathroom. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff were kind, friendly and hard working. They gave us recommendations to nearby shopping and to a very tasty restaurant. They also remembered we had a wedding to attend from my messages which I thought was nice and provided me with what I needed to carefully iron our fancy clothes since my steamer was not compatible for use in Europe.

Perfect location for exploring the city on foot. Spotlessly clean. We had a balcony overlooking the attractive Square. Very welcoming atmosphere which made it pleasant to come back to after exploring. We had one rainy day and Reception lent us umbrellas. They were also very knowledgeable about what to see, cinema times, restaurants. They looked after our bags after we’d checked out so we could go out for a walk before our train.

No negatives

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The staff were so helpful, supportive and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were lovely, spotless, comfortable. Rooms had everything we needed. Beds comfortable. Breakfast and service was excellent. The location of the hotel was perfect - setting in a lovely square, so close to restaurants, shops, cafes, historic buildings, the railway station and bus stops. I just couldn't fault Hotel Sofia - everything was great.

Could not fault anything - it was perfect.

Personnel attitude, readiness to help, attention to details (I forgot my phone charger - admin wrote me and kept to give back).

Breakfast options are not really wide (could be more comprehensive). Also, strange taxes (extra fees) for the dog. In that case the hotel should say instead of "pet friendly" - "pet not hostile" ))) it was nothing for dog in the room (no water/feed means).

Excellent service from Andreia. If travelling by car, contact front desk for info before arriving as hotel has a partnership in nearby lot (if the few free spots are taken). Great room, lovely breakfast. Excellent location when visiting downtown Braga. Great shower.

Unrelated to hotel, parking lot across street is very expensive, best to contact the hotel first.

Lovely boutique hotel! Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Good bathroom and shower. Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast! Convenient location to explore Braga, very close to tourist areas with lots to nearby sights and excellent places to eat nearby. Limited onsite parking (which they had told us about), but staff provided detailed directions to nearby underground parking which was safe, secure, and pretty convenient, at a very reasonable daily rate, Would stay here again!
