The staff team are amazing! Friendly, fun, professional and super helpful - really the best! Great location and a very spacious room with lovely decor and lovely views of the church. The breakfast was really plentiful and the communal room a calming and relaxing space where you could also wait if too early for check in - so good we stayed another night ☘️

The only slight negative is the fact that the windows offer no insulation from the street noise. For us it was not a huge inconvenience and the round of the church bells were really pleasant but other noises did get through too so if you are a light sleeper, wear earplugs

This is the third place I've stayed in Braga's historic center and by far the most comfortable and best located - close to restaurants and all major tourist attractions. In addition to being well-lit, the room I rented (Quarto Duplo com Terraço) has a small terrace where you can relax outdoors and even take a look at the historic center of Braga and its surroundings from above (perfect for selfies, if you are into it). In addition to the bed being spectacular, the room has a minibar, heating (or fan, depending on the season you are there), and a huge closet to store suitcases and clothes, while the bathroom has a bidet and bathtub. Unlike most of these old Portuguese buildings, Terrace House also has an elevator, although you have to climb a flight of stairs to access it. All things considered, it was my best stay in Braga so far, and if I return to the city I will definitely return to this place.

Being an old building, the door handle of our room is a bit used and requires some trickery to open and lock properly. The first two times we left the room, it took me some time to understand how to make the thing work. Perhaps the staff should consider replacing these old door handles with newer ones, especially for safety reasons.

The staff was attentive, the room was large and had adequate closet/hangers/ table space. There was a small fridge. The location was perfect. The room was clean and the staff cleaned it daily.

There is a large light outside the huge window that shines in all night. The curtains are not blackout. It was a bit tricky figuring out how to turn on the hot water in the shower. But we figured it out.

The location was in the center of the city, close to visit the whole city The room was perfect, but the cleaning that was done every day was not good because the entire room was not cleaned, the cleaning towels were never changed unless we left them on the floor.

Pay more attention to the cleaning of the rooms during the stay of the guests in the hotel.

This adorable b & b is in an absolutely optimal position: it is literally located in the center of Braga, in a few minutes you can easily reach the main attractions, including the wonderful Cathedral. Also as regards public transport, in a few minutes you can reach the bus stop that leads to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus and in 5 minutes you can easily reach the bus station. Around there are many shops, cafes and restaurants. From a structural point of view, the room was spotless (and for me it is an absolutely fundamental factor) and was cleaned and tidied up daily by the cleaning lady. Clean and fresh sheets, as well as towels. The property is a little dated, but other factors matter to me. Really very nice staff

Given that my boyfriend and I are not people who complain easily and we have absolutely no claims, other than cleanliness, as already mentioned. Three weaknesses: being very central, there is no shortage of people shouting over the weekend. The door key gave some problems, but easily solved. I do not recommend it only for people with poor mobility, because to access it you have to go up a flight of stairs.

I stayed here 2 nights and if not for the (annoyingly) loud heater, I would've been more generous in my review! The location is outstanding! Very powerful hot shower! Comfy bed! Nice staff! Very inexpensive, given the location! Good WiFi!

The best situation in the old part or Braga, nice staff, affordable, in a shopping pedestrian street.

You cannot expect to sleep in a historic building as if it were a modern hotel, so you should expect the issues of an old building. I love the charm, but some people may prefer no stairs or modern construction.

I was working remotely during the stay and wifi in my room was weak( ~9Kb/s. Hotel has good high speed line with 5G (70Kb/s) though, but it was not reaching my room. Check speed test during check-in.

Other than my height, the accommodations were great. We didn’t have to walk very far to find all sorts of things to do, see and places to dine.
