Excellent for a short stay. The apartment was clean, compact and quiet. Getting in and out was easy with the proper codes. The elevator worked well. The location was close to restaurants and on the beautiful promenade (walking only street). Met a member of the family that owned the building, and his travel exploits were very interesting plus he got the television to work properly by removing and then re-plugging in the associated cables. The washing machine was easy to use. The iron was exceptionally clean compared to others in past apartments.

The freezer had so much built-up ice that only one small bag of frozen food would fit until I removed a tremendous amount of ice that was built up over a long time, to the point that the freezer door wouldn't shut properly. Cleaning people entered our apartment two days in a row thinking we were checking out. Not good when we were not properly dressed. We provided a free frying pan as their pan had the anti-stick coating chipping off. All of this should have been checked by the management company that obviously requires some adult supervision. A drying rack would be helpful, and I left a small one for other tenants.

The two spotlights of this apartment have to bee the location, and, the host. The apartment is located right in the heart of Braga, on a beautiful pedestrian street right next to stores, coffee shops, and, a lot of sights to see. If you plan on going a shopping spree, this is a perfectly located apartment. The hostes helped us with everything we needed, was very responsive, and, friendly :) We also came early, and, had no issues receaving the apartment a couple of hours earlier.

For us, the biggest issue was the comfort, as it was hard to get a good nights sleep here due to the noises coming from the ventilation system(there were some noises coming out all day and nightx about once per 30minuted or so), and, the discomfort of the couch bed, as it was a bit uneven, and, even though I am used to sleeping on couches, I ended up developing a mild back pain on it. Also the pan was quite scratched up, not the worst I've seen, but, should be replaced, lickily we already had our pan we bought earlier in our trip, so we used that. All in all, this apartment is probably better for a shorter stay, we stayed for 7 nights, for us it felt a bit too long to stay comfortable.

This is a secure, beautiful building in an excellent location. The layout of the apartment was excellent with a seperate bedroom. The apartment was soundproof. Sleep is very important. Everything in the apartment was comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The table large enough to do work if needed. The view from apartment overlooking the street with well manicured flower beds and the mountains in the distance was beautiful and added to the experience. The location was perfect. Nothing. Ideal and I travel extensively

The apartment is beautiful and well thought out. The location is great and is easy to walk to a lot of amazing places. You get to people watch and feel the buzz of the city. The apartment is well equipped. You can tell the person who designed the apartment did so understanding the need for joy and functionality. Lastly, I want to say a big thank you to Tamila who was responsive and open to my questions. Thank you for making a resturant booking for me, it was super difficult but we appreciate your help with this. We look forward to coming again.

I didn’t dislike anything in particular. The apartment is beautiful. The WiFi could be stronger. It seems to be strong in the living room compared to the bedroom. But that wasn’t a big deal for us.

The design of the apartment, and the whole building is beautiful. The apartment itself and lobbies smelled really nice. The attention to detail is really good. The bed was very comfortable. The TV is a smart TV, so I could log into my Netflix and YouTube account. We stayed in an apartment with a balcony facing the back and it was very quiet. We could only hear church bells and birds. The apartment has ducted airconditioning, so the temperature was very comfortable.

There is not shelves in the cupboard, only a couple of hangers. So we needed to live out of our suitcase. It also would have been nice to have more surface in the bathroom for toiletries.

Very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The kitchen was so great that we pretty often cooked there. The supermarkets are closeby. The location is perfect. The manager was so kind.

For foreigners, the laundry machine is always tricky. It would have been better if it had had a bit more kind instruction including how to choose drying mode without washing…

Great decoration, confortable furniture, easy check-in and perfect location. Everything like in the ad.

Place and communication is excellent, as a feedback they could really benefit having an office table and chair, this would attract a lot of people since very few accomodations in the region offer this option, I could stay an entire month if not for that point. Another point they could offer more toilet paper, soap and towels for longer stays.

The apartment is in a beautiful historic building which has been very tastefully converted into modern apartments. The space is perfect for 2 people, especially when you open the balcony doors to extend the living room. There’s a washing machine, extra duvet, lots of guide books about the area. The location is perfect to explore the area and is walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants, and also the bus station where you can catch a bus to Porto. The best thing about the apartment is Caterina! She was so helpful and communicative. Five stars for her!

*The shower pressure is so good that the drain cannot cope so the shower gets flooded. This is not a huge issue - just take a shorter shower. *It would be nice if there was some sort of fencing between the balconies to provide a bit more privacy.

Villa Theatro is in a prime location and filled with quality amenities. This was a very well thought out apartment and the staff were responsive and informative. The elevator was a God send as i was traveling with someone who had mobility challenges. It was a quiet, secure oasis on the heart of shopping and culture.

Being in a pedestrian location it was challenging to understand where the property was located (via waze/google maps) and where best to unload. If you have a car, reserve parking through the property as the garage they advise is secure, accessible and a 4 min walk. Having done this would have saved us 45 mins of circling. ;)
