Location excellent, close to everything you want to see. Hotel was small, calm, very friendly, lovely ambiance. Breakfast was excellent! Our ‘superior’ room was spacious. We left on the 2nd day of Braga Romana, a celebration of the past association with its Roman past. So lovely to see all the bars, eateries, shop staff dressing up and all the groups of school children!

The split level of the room was a bit of a surprise. Our mobility is good but I’ve had a double hip replacement so terrified of falling and being of a certain age, need to get up in the night to go to the bathroom. Having to find the first step edge of 4, in the dark was disconcerting so we ended up leaving the bathroom light on!

Lovely small hotel. We had a standard room which was nice, good bathroom and lovely toiletries. Breakfast needed to be ordered the night before. On requesting by email in advance a parking space reserved for us immediately outside the hotel. Good location a very short walk from the centre of a charming town. We only stayed for one day and night and there was a festival going on celebrating the age of the town which was good fun. On walking out the next morning everything had been cleared away and the town was very clean. Lots of cafes and restaurants around. Small cathedral/museum was charming with exhibits clearly labelled.

The location was excellent, the room was spacious, and the breakfast offered a nice variety. The room was very quiet, and I especially enjoyed the beautiful view. Staff was welcoming.

The shower had a built-in steam venting system that turned on and off automatically, but it was quite noisy. There weren’t enough blankets in the room, so I had to request more. Although breakfast was generally good, I didn’t enjoy the à la carte system—I prefer choosing what I want in the moment rather than deciding the night before. The portions were also too large, which led to unnecessary waste and made me feel uncomfortable. Lastly, the front door to the breakfast room didn’t close properly, letting in a lot of cold air, and unfortunately, the staff couldn’t help making it better.

The hotel is in a very convenient and central location. The staff is very helpful, polite, and welcoming. We had a wonderful breakfast, which we were allowed to pre-select the day before. The room we stayed in was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was huge. If you are driving, I recommend trying to find street parking, as we used a nearby parking garage and paid 15 euro for less than 24 hours.

I suppose this depends on the availability, but I wish the hotel would not combine two twin beds and call it one bed or at least make this very clear when booking or bring attention to it when checking in. Complementary water in the rooms would be nice.

The breakfast was terrific because it is customized to the individual guest. The bed was excellent. The bathroom was well set up. Windows were openable, with privacy. The safe was very good.

Shampoo was not provided but there was body wash and hand lotion and a small bar of soap. One more towel would have been nice to have especially when staying multiple nights. The closet space in my room was limited but adequate in my spouse's room - our two rooms were very different from each other in layout, shower size, closet space and room size....mine (#14) was overall much better than his (#12). We peeked into #13 and it was identical to #14.....should have been assigned to us when booking the two rooms so that they were the same.

Phenomenal hotel in the historic district of Braga, very close to many shops, places to see, and restaurants. We had a two level suite with a king bed, living room / sitting area, and two bathrooms - all very clean with nice decor! We stayed 5 nights and chose a rate that included breakfast each day. The food was amazing! Many choices and they were very accommodating to our changing schedule. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special and we applaud their efforts and wish them all well in the future. We'd definitely stay here again if we have the chance to come back to Braga!

Excellent 4 star hotel in Braga. The staff on reception were friendly, professional & efficient. The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast, you have to select your choices the night before and in the morning it is all efficiently brought to your table. Lots of choice such as museli, yogurt, cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, breads, cheese, hams, cooked eggs, bacon, mushrooms, pancakes, honey. The list goes on! The bedrooms are massive, clean & modern. TV had lots of English speaking film channels. Plus they are well sound insulated from outside noise & inside the hotel as well. I am a very light sleeper but wasn't disturbed. Would highly recommend this place as its very good value for money.

Restaurant in the hotel doesn't serve dinner until 7.30pm onwards which is late for us. However this seems to be the norm in Portugal and the food was delicious so worth the wait.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is perfectly located in the heart of Braga. A big thank you to the staff for accommodating us earlier than the official check-in time. The room was excellent, equipped with everything we needed, and despite the winter season, it was warm and cozy. Breakfast was both elegant and delicious, with a great selection of freshly prepared options timed perfectly for when you arrive. I especially want to highlight the avocado toast – it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Braga.

Super location 2 min from cathedral. We were lucky that we were able to reserve a parking spot just at the front door which was convenient. Personnel was super friendly, and great choice for breakfast, although you were asked to fill out your breakfast choices the evening before. Braga is also a super destination - great atmosphere in the town, easy to walk through with large are that is pedestrian. Also do not miss out Bom Jesus do Monte.
