This house is right on the path, witching a couple of blocks to the town center with shopping and very nice supermarket. The beds were comfortable and solid (no squeaking or shaking when one climbs to upper bunk). Each bunk bunk has huge drawer beneath the lower bunk to lock your things (you need to bring your own lock) or keep them out of the way. There is also extra large cubbies to put things instead. Balcony upstairs with line to dry items and social room and kitchen. A lot of pilgrims gathering in these spots. I enjoyed the area very much, visited the laundry mat and slept so well. Tita (staff person) is amazing with great happiness and pleasure she offers information and assistance. Highly recommend

I did not state a preference for a quiet room B.Com. I don’t mind answering your tick box Qs about the property but don’t like it when things are not true. The property was nice, great to have a kitchen, nice staff, good location.
The other guests were noisy but not until late. The keys turning in doors whenever someone entered or left their room is loud. Also people seem to close their doors by banging them closed loudly. Perhaps a sign here & there about respecting people’s quietness in nearby rooms. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

This was one of the best I stayed in during my trip to Portugal. When I arrived, there was only an upper bunk available, which was not a big problem. I was just getting settled in when the manager came to me and told me he had a cancellation and could have a room to myself with a bottom bunk. The place was clean, lots of room, so guests were not crowded in.
There was nothing to dislike about this hostel.

The modern property is owned and managed by Pedro, one of the most pleasant and helpful guys you will come across. He speaks well-educated English which is a bonus to many travellers passing through here. There is a large, self-help kitchen with everything one needs, and a dining/common room. A well stocked supermarket is 5 minutes walk away. Modern, large bunk beds with all towels supplied.
There are no negatives to this accommodation.

Pedro was a great hoster! He explained all to us with detailed and was super kind. Also, he offered us the entire bedroom for us, even though we booked individual beds. That was a great detail that helped us during Camino de Santiago to have some peace of mind and private space.
A group of teenagers were partying close to our room and making noise when entering the hostel late at night, which disturbed our sleeping time. I would suggest the hostel to be more strict with these type of behaviors. I would also suggest to open the kitchen earlier, as pilgrims need to wake up very early in the morning amd habe breakfast around 6am.

We were grateful that Pedro checked us in a little earlier than planned. He was very helpful with a map and directions to best restaurants, laundry and food markets. He gave very clear instructions on getting in and out of the hostel. We had a room to ourselves. It was a central location very close to the town center.
The bathroom needed some painting and maintenance.

They were super accommodating, especially as I was travelling with my service dog, and we arrived so wet from the Camino. Great location for the Camino de Santiago. Ni e hostel atmosphere and the choice of a private roo was nice. We were lucky to have a west facing balcony which was lovely for after dinner snacks and relaxing. Lovely little town. The host made good recommendations for places to eat.
It was a little noisy at night with the sound of sours closing echoing up the beautiful staircase.

I really want to thank the staff on duty for allowing me to come in earlier, I also want to thank the cleaning staff for their help in finding me a hairdresser. This is the neatest and cleanest hostel I've stayed in so far. I am super grateful. Extremely well priced.
