Lovely, spacious apartment with comfortable beds, downstairs toilet as well as the bathroom upstairs with a fabulous shower, terrace with table and chairs, good wardrobe space. It was very clean on our arrival. Reception staff are helpful and friendly. Two pools to choose from, lots of space and sun beds. About a 20 minute walk down into the Old town which we didn't mind and Bolt (taxis) are very cheap if you don't want to walk back up!

Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss! We were told the apartment would be cleaned every day, however, at least two days were missed, and on the other days sometimes the beds were made, other days not! The bathroom was not cleaned at all during our stay. Clean towels only provided every 3 days and we did have to ask for this, as that day housekeeping didn't visit.

A really lovely stay! The hotel is located in a quiet, safe area but only a 15 minute walk to the old town. We walked this twice most days and found it to be fine. Ubers are also extremely cheap if needed. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Very clean but some cleaning staff who cleaned our apartment each day were definitely better than others. Our apartment was modern, bright and incredibly spacious. AC worked well. Great to have two bathrooms and two bedrooms rather than having to use a sofa bed in a living room. Huge fridge & freezer. Great to have a balcony. Very handy having two pools. Lovely waterfall shower. Great supermarket just across the road which we loved. Airport transfers well organised. Grounds are really well kept and very clean.

Sun loungers could do with being updated. Balcony furniture could be better as it was old & a bit grubby & doesn’t really match the modern feel of the apartment.

The room we got for people was pretty spacious, huge trace, Equipments are very good and clean in the house and kitchen, our trace was right front of the pool in total I love this hotel!

Then only thing is that I found the check-in and check-out times quite inconvenient. Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am, which means we lose a significant portion of the day on both ends. Considering we’re paying for a full day, it doesn’t feel entirely fair. Like not fair at all! Like 2:00 pm and 12:00 noon is normal but 4:00 pm and 11:00 is something pretty unfair and inconvenience!

The location of the hotel is fine as long as you have a car...the walk into Lagos Town centre is about 20 minutes but uphill on the return .There are several bar/restaurants close by including Indian ,Chinese x 2 and a steak house all within a 5 minute walk . The apartment was absolutely fine ....clean, functional with pretty much everything you might need . The beds were clean and comfy, the maids came in daily . There's ample free parking either outside your apartment or elsewhere on site. The breakfast was reasonable ...bit samey after 5 days but enough choice to get your engine started.

The only thing I thought could / should be improved was the poolside areas. The pools themselves are a lovely size there's ample nice loungers/sunbeds, but pool surround is terracotta tiling that looks a bit tired and miscoloured, not a major issue just an observation ....it didn't affect our stay.

We stayed for 3 nights on the second floor unit. It was spacious, bright and airy apartment. Good location as it was close to the city center but not in the middle of everything. Mini market across the street had our basic needs and fresh fruits. Sunrays Kitchen a block away from the hotel had amazing lunch menu. Everything in the apartment worked as intended and patio gave a roomy feeling.

The hotel / apartment needs to invest in good quality of pillows & solid sofa as well as luggage stand/rack or wood bench for guests to place belongings.

Great stay at Vila Branca, we had a one bedroom apt and it was huge! Clean and spacious with all kitchen facilities, except an oven. Everything looked very new. Reception staff very helpful, rooms serviced daily with a mid-week change of towels. Very peaceful area with 2 pools to choose from. About a 20 min walk to Lagos city centre with some hills, not ideal in the heat but we had a car. Convenient small supermarket just across the road. Would stay again and definitely recommend!

Very few sunbeds and the ones that were available were old and tatty, some even broken. Need replacing urgently. Hotel guests should not be allowed to reserve, most had towels on them by 8.30am! Not a problem for us as we went down to the pool in the afternoon after sightseeing, but not very fair. No clothes drying rack in the balcony, not ideal. Note that hairdryers are only available at reception for a €20 deposit. Take your own travel one like I did! Pool towels also require a deposit. Bed and sofa bed a bit hard for our liking but not a problem, would not stop me from staying there again

Hotel is located at the end for dead end road, thanks to which there are only guests cars. Are a lot of parking spots, always easy to find one close to the bungalow. Hotel surroundings are clean, well maintained and modern. Swimming pools under the palms were cool, nice to take some rest and cool down from the sun. Our room was quite big, with a big bathroom, step-in shower. All new and modern, including AC. It was clean and kept that way during the whole stay. I liked the idea of custom dinners, e.g. a barbecue evening where you would pay fixed price and eat whatever you want.

The only thing I missed was lack of vegetables for breakfast - at least there should be some tomatoes, cucumbers or salads available. The custom dinner could be better announced, e.g. like the drink of the day on the stand in front of the reception/restaurant.

Very reasonably priced and included breakfast. Breakfast was small but there was a little hot selection included. Staff were friendly and helpful. 25 minute walk into the old town/marina area or bus available from near the hotel. Walking in the opposite direction takes you to the coastal boardwalk. Fridge and safe available in the room. Room was very spacious.

Facilities are very basic, no toiletries except for hand soap. No kettle or tea/coffee making facilities. Not necessarily a bad thing, just an fyi really, but the room is not in the same building as the reception area. You have to walk out of the building to get to your room on the grounds.

The hotel was approx 20 mins walk to the local beaches which were lovely. The apartment was clean and spacious, had everything you needed Pool area was as it appears in the photos. We didn't use the restaurant as we went to the old town in the evenings which is approximately 30 mins walk or €4 taxi. There is a small supermarket very close to hotel which has fresh bread/other essentials/fruit etc. Would stay here again, good value for money.

The safe in our room was broken prior to our arrival, and although we raised this with reception this was not fixed during our stay. Deposit needed for iron / board

Spacious, light and airy apartment which was always spotlessly cleaned each day. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was excellent. The staff were always smart, professional and friendly. The pools were clean and well maintained. Hotel was close to a good local supermarket.

It was approx 20 mins walk to the town or beach (however this did mean it was a nice quiet location) but it wasn’t a problem for us. There were some hotels being built nearby and there were cranes working on them. It wasn’t noisy at all but did spoil our view from the room a bit (obviously not the hotels fault and it certainly didn’t stop us enjoying our stay!)
