We requested a quiet apartment which was allocated however we found the outdoor area a bit small and in the shade. The next morning we requested a different apartment which was provided with excellent customer service by David. We moved to an apartment with access to a grassed area, a table and sun beds. Perfect! David also gave us beach towels to use, which we forgot. He always had an hello and a smile whenever we crossed paths. Carol, part of the housekeeping team was so friendly and helpful during our stay, keeping our apartment spic and span. The apartment is only a 10 minute walk to a beach with 2 good restaurants and cliff walks.

My recent stay at Canavial I was absolutely wonderful, exceeding all expectations! From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere and beautiful surroundings created the perfect escape. The accommodations were clean, offering comfort and space. A significant part of what made this trip so exceptional was the incredible help and kindness of Teresa. She was an absolute gem, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Whether it was providing local recommendations, assisting with arrangements, or simply offering a warm and welcoming presence, Teresa's helpfulness truly enhanced my entire experience. Her attentiveness and genuine desire to make my stay memorable transformed a great vacation into an unforgettable one. I can't recommend Canavial I, and especially Teresa's assistance, highly enough!

I stayed at this place with my family. The room size, amenities, services and staff all deserve a 10/10. It was worth every single penny. Location is so perfect that you can get to all the major attractions within 15min by car. Plenty of parking space available. Pool was very clean and well maintained. We got a very comfy baby bed for our 2 year old baby. Cloth washing service was a big plus. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. He gave alot of info on what to see and where to go to eat. I would definitely recommend staying here with family and if you have a car.

I think they can maybe provide a door mat to reduce the sand coming into room. However, it just might be asking for too much 😁.

At first sight, the apartment was a tad dated but we came to like it for the following reasons: 1. location - only minutes stroll away from the nearest beautiful beach (via a shortcut, climb under the boardwalk) - Praia do Canavial (beach umbrella provided) 2. location - about 20mins away via beautiful boardwalk/shortcuts to Ponta da Piedade for the amazing sunset 3. location - 5 mins drive away from supermarkets 4. cleanliness - daily cleaning provided and the lady cleaner is superb and detailed 5. kitchen - very well equipped 6. airy - we left both window and door ajar, provided very good ventilation throughout the apartment 7. common area - enough space to dry the clothes (clothes drying rack provided) in addition to table/chairs 8. hospitality - extremely helpful, friendly and prompt responses from the owner, son and lady receptionest 9. and location - in a very safe and upmarket residential area

The location was perfect, a bit outside of the touristic crowded area, but very close to the beach, and to access the path that you could walk to see all the amazing views of the ocean and cliffs. The pool and garden was very clean and nice to spend time there. The rooms are clean and you get daily cleaning. You also get the basics you would need to cook something in the kitchen and Supermarkets at about 10 -15 mins walking to shop for groceries.

It would be nice to add some cooking oil in the kitchen, as it’s inconvenient to buy one just to cook for a few days stay. It was a bit expensive, but everything in the area expensive anyway.

Stayed with my family in this apartment. We stayed for 3 nights. What we liked the most about the apartment was the flexibility of requesting a 3 separate beds into our apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed, pots , cutlery, cups, toaster, kettle, microwave and a fridge/freezer. The bathroom included towels and shampoo, conditioner and soap and was clean and everything was working perfectly. The beds were comfortable and clean as well. The pool was clean. Beautiful property for those with family as is very quiet at night. Is like 10min walk from a beach where you will find 2 restaurants. And it is about 20/25 minutes walk from town . There is a week shop 15 min walk from the apartment as well . You can go anytime and come back at anytime too!!

A smart tv could be advantageous, as there is only a few channels available. Would have been nice to watch Netflix during our stay. And provide breakfast could also advantageous as sometimes it can be difficult to walk to town just for breakfast

We had an amazing stay at Canavial Appartments I & II, we liked it so much that we added two more nights. The appartment was very clean, had great beds, good shower and the price/quality was very good. We choose a 3 persons appartment wich has a more private patio/outdoor. The staff was very friendly and helpfull , and the location was amazing. 10 min walk from Playa Porto de Mos, our favorite beach and about 20 minutes to the old town.

The apartment was lovely, clean, and well appointed. Teresa was a wonderful communicator all along and a joy to meet. The location was perfect for us, being outside of the center of town, near the quieter beaches, great food, and the boardwalk leading all the way to the center of town. We will definitely stay here again if we come to Lagos. It's a wonderful place to use as a base for exploring the western Algarve. Teresa is a wealth of knowledge, as well.

Our only single/tiny missing desire would have been the availability of a dish towel.

The apartment was spacious and spotless. I liked it so much I extended my stay another 2 nights. All the staff were helpful but I must single out Paul who selflessly gave me a ride in his own car to Portimao (a return trip of 50+ks) to collect my replacement passport from a DHL centre. He refused to accept any payment. He is my hero.

I can't complain about anything. The building construction sounds right next door was a slight problem but not enough to stop me enjoying the pool and grounds.

Wonderful place, nice beds, lovely garden with swimmingpool, and very genuine amazing people working there! The service was a 10/10, and i’m sure we will come back more often

Only small issue we had with the shower, didnt matter how you put the shower head, the bathroom floor got all wet everytime
