Beautiful location and wonderful staff. Private. Beautiful and tidy landscaping. Large quiet pool area with brand new loungers. Nice little cafe and bar off the pool. Thank you to Edna and Christina at the front desk for your kindness.

We would have appreciated shampoo and soap in the shower. And an exhaust fan in the bathroom would be nice to clear the humidity; there was some sort of fan but it was inadequate or it was malfunctioning. The rooms are showing their age a little, but I think it adds to the charm. Everything was very clean and in good repair. It's obvious they try very hard to keep the resort in tip top condition. The wi-fi in the rooms is barely adequate, but it's strong in the bar and cafe, so I would just take my laptop there.

Clean rooms and kitchenette with all the cookware basics. Compact coffee machine with one sample of regular and decaf (would have been nice to have 1 each for 4 people). Lovely bowl of complementary fresh fruit was a great pick-me up snack before walking to the beach. For a deposit they provide you a large sized towel for the beach/pool and you can exchange for new ones as often as needed. A clothes drying rack is available at each balcony so that was quite convenient. Very friendly reception and housecleaning staff. First floor apartments have a small lawn area.

Loved the breakfast, the pool and the staff. Every single one was friendly and helpful. also loved the resident cats. the beach is 2 mins walk away and is amazing

it's very quiet, if you're looking for peaceful relaxation this is the place for you, but if your looking for a lively hotel.set up this is not it . Also be aware its not near any shops. There are 2 fab restaurants at the beach . Main stripe/old town Lagos is couple of mins drive or Uber away. Uber arrives usually in 2 mins..

The reception staff were friendly (nothing was too big an ask), the whole place was clean and quiet, the views and sunsets were amazing. Within 5 mins drive of town centre, restaurants, museums, supermarkets, the coastline and sea caves - and minutes walk to the beach. The room was well laid out and well equipped - 2 of everything in the kitchen. Perfect. Including tea towles, pot soap, sponge, coffee machine. Ubers/taxis arrived within minutes when requested and under 5€ to centre of Lagos - in about 5 minutes.

We excpected a renovated apartment - as shown on the booking website. That was a bit disappointing. Also we had a place ( view was amazing) which was very close to the main road leading to the beach. For people who get bothered by traffic I definitely would not recommend this. However for us it was fine. And one more addition. There were ants in the bathroom and kitchen.we had to hide all food in the fridge.

This place was perfect for us, a family with 2 small kids. The villa was spacious, very clean and had beautiful sea views, the staff were all very welcoming, the pools were great and the grounds were beautiful. The thing that made it for us was the location - just a few minutes walk down to the best beach in the Algarve. Great for swimming, sandcastle building and wave jumping but also had a snack bar and 2 restaurants for the evenings. Also the beach didn't have a coating of seaweed when a lot of the other local beaches did!

This hotel was great. The apartment was larger than expected. The shower was huge. Very clean. According to reviews, I brought a spatula and some hooks just in case. We stopped in at the pingo doce market before arrival to bring some groceries and supplies. The first floor level provided a great ocean view. The terrace was a good size as well. Lots of closet space, places to put your suitcase, etc. We only stayed 4 nights. It should have been longer. There are 2 restaurants down at the beach. Both are excellent, but the vibe at Campimar is amazing. Their patio is the best place to watch the sunset while enjoying a cocktail, but you could easily just watch it from anywhere on he beach. The food in the restaurant is wonderful.

We had a car, so the location was perfect. With no car, you are a fair walk from the town, but public transit is right there and uber to downtown is a few Euros, so not really a problem at all.

We loved the location — it's right at the beach, and the views are amazing! We loved the apartment itself, it was spacious and had not one but two floor to ceiling doors to the balcony that overviews the gorgeous ocean. We liked that there was a sauna, and it was nice to have the option to have buffet dinner when we arrived too. And we loved the reception cats :) it was also nice that they cleaned the room later in the day too, just to have that option as a jetlagged person is great.

It would be nice to have an easier beach towel system, and it would be nice to just share the sauna instead of using it one by one. The sauna is big, so it's ok.

Well kept pool and grounds in a fantastic location. Spacious apartments with big balconies, sea view and great outlook. All the staff were lovely and the cafe/restaurant was consistently good

Apartments were a little dated-bathrooms could do with a refit, but we were comfortable and had lots of room

Amazing staff- especially Tiago and Hugo on reception, who always did their best to help and offer good advice; good location, nice pool, lovely gorgeous sunset view from balcony, very quiet. The nearby beach is lovely, unspoiled and not crowded at all!. Well placed for the Cliff walk. Everywhere is 10 min max and 4-5euro by Uber

Outdated 1990s room and bathroom decor, broken hairdryer ( the receptionist very kindly lent us an alternative and organised for it to be fixed, but this and the awkward shower/bath glass partition thing should really be replaced with a modern and ergonomic alternative in line with a 4star rating. We were in a house at the top end, but had to walk up and down the hill to get to our apartment when letting residents use the (locked) back gate would save people time and effort.
