We spent a week here and it was perfect. The room was so nice, and we loved having the little balcony. Easy walk to a beautiful beach. We liked that it was out of town a little. It took us about 25 minutes to walk to Old Town, so it was a very quiet area. Lovely little coffee shop about 2-3 minute walk away and supermarket about 15 mins. Staff were exceptional.

Not meant as a complaint, but it would be helpful to have some basics in the room like salt, pepper & sugar.

The location was great, it was a short walk to the lovely beach and also easy to get a cab to the town area. The room was spacious and hd a lovely balcony where we'd have breakfast every morning.

There weren't any shops nearby to buy supplies so we went to the beach area to buy water or it's a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest supermarket which can be challenging in the scorching heat! You can also use Uber eats to deliver groceries which we found useful.

It was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and that, along with the cute balcony, made home-breakfasts extra nice. There is also a sauna and pool (although at a different location) available. Very close to the beach as well

Is slightly outside of the city therefore it’s easier to get around with a car

Quiet with comfortable bed and spacious room perfect for a couple. Facilities are nice and it has a good, private pool with a patio and barbeque. There was a home being constructed across the street but the only time we heard the noise is on the unit patio in the a.m. but it was not intrusive. You can walk to a beach with two restaurants (the restaurants were closed the first night when we arrived after 9 pm and tried to get dinner, we did not try them during our stay). Best if you have a car so as to access other beaches and the many restaurants closer to and within Lagos downtown.

It would be nice to have a small stove cooktop so you could cook if you chose to without only option being microwave or outside bbq.

we liked the room and the view - we had a room with balcony with the view to the ocean, residential area and our pool. the room was spacious with good planning. well equipped and we enjoyed being there 3 nights. the stuff was really helpful and polite. free parking was necessary for us.

maybe a bit far from the center but on the other hand we drove around by car and the beach was just some minutes to walk.

Its location is amazing right next to a beautiful beach. Quiet safe neighbourhood with groceries nearby. The room itself was huge and a beautiful bathroom. Comes with a nice terrace and a great pool. Quiet and comfortable. Great value.

The bed was a little uncomfortable and the kitchen could be better well stocked. They also could have lights around the property at night.

Spacious, spotless and modern. A well-equipped kitchen, everything you need to prepare a home-cooked meal. Very quiet. Comfortable bed. Staff were very polite and friendly. The wine was a nice touch. Nothing negative to say. Would definitely stay again.

Had a real retreat real when returning from beach days. Location is perfect for the lesser used beaches.

The villa is not really walking distance to Lagos. Uber is only £4.50 so not an issue. However, the nearest shop is about a 20mins walk so getting supplies has to be planned out.

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Villa Mar Azul and didn't want to leave! Our room was even better than the pictures. We had an ocean view, really comfortable terrace overlooking the awesome pool (pool area even has a barbecue grill!) and the room/bathroom were spacious. Kitchen was well equipped & pool towels were provided. The location was pretty far from Lagos center but it was very peaceful there & it was easy to get Ubers to restaurants. Note that the check-in location is at a different address that is a bit far away (not walkable with luggage) but the overall check in process was very simple. When checking in, you can leave your car in the parking lot right next to the check in address they provide until they escort you to the villa.

Not a negative thing but just more of a note that the kitchen is well equipped with appliances/utensils/cookware but basics like salt, pepper, oil, coffee, tea are not provided so bring your own. There is an Intermarche supermarket nearby where we did all of our grocery shopping.

Everything from the staff to the location. The comfortable bed and great shower. The kitchen facilities were great to have. The parking was great. This will definitely be a place we recommend and come back to.
