The Miranda provided an outstanding expereince for us while we toured Portugal. The hotel is situated on a beautiful piece of property over-looking over the ocean. Spectacular scenery looking over cliffs to a beautiful beach. The staff was incredible right from the beginning with a warm gretting and making us feel so welcome! We felt so at home! The food at the hotel is superb! The breakfast had many offerings with a menu to order additonal food if not on the buffet. Dinner at the hotel was fantastic. The menu selections, staff and the FOOD were remarkable. One of the best meals we had during our trip to Portugal. Our room was fabulous-very roomy with an outdoor patio. Modern furnishings and updated. The location of the hotel hooks into the fishermans trail which brings you to Lagos. An absolutely beautiful breathtaking walk with incredible cliff views over the ocean! As we told the hotel staff upon thanking them for a wonderful stay upon leaving-we will be back!

Every department at this establishment boasts outstanding staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The dining room offers a spectacular view, with sweeping vistas that capture the essence of the surrounding beauty. The grounds are meticulously maintained, providing a serene and relaxing atmosphere with lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and tranquil pathways. Whether you're strolling through the gardens or enjoying a meal, the environment exudes a peaceful, rejuvenating vibe. Without a doubt, I would stay here again.

Mani pedi in spa was not good, the provider needed more training. The pedicure did not match the description in menu. But the spa was able to accommodate me at the last min and I was desparate.

The views are amazing and unique! We stayed in a (partial) seaview room, a very spacious room with large bathroom. The restaurant, bar, terrace and pool area offer the most stunning views at the coast line. The hotel garden is impressive and very well maintained. You will walk down to the beach Praia do Porto de Mas in 5 to 10 minutes. Breakfast very good quality. Compliments to the attentive staff! Restaurant and bar are well appreciated. Fitness room and sauna are fine. The hotel is located half way the famous hike Fishermen trail from Praia de Luz to Lagos. Wonderful hike both ways and easy to start near to the hotel. The reception will gladly show you the way. We walked to Lagos town in about 25 minutes through the main road or about an hour through the wooden boardwalk along the beach. Lagos old town is a very nice place with lots of bars and small restaurants, make sure to place your reservation in advance!

We can only think of one recommendation; it would be nice to have the option to cast to the hotel television

This stay exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for a quiet vacation. Only a ten minute walk to the beach and a 35 minute walk to downtown. The views were exceptional and the pool and grounds were a much needed reprieve after long travel days. But the best part was the staff they were so welcoming and I could not recommend the spa treatments enough. Thanks for the amazing stay 10/10!!!

I wish our stay was longer!

The location of the hotel with the view from the outside spaces. The sun terraces were comfortable and the garden area very peaceful. The doormen were extremely accomodating and went out of their way to be of service, in a happy and friendly manner.

The coffee from the machine. Whilst we don't mind coffee from a machine, this was not to a standard that reflected the hotel, and found it disappointing.

The room decoration and hotel views were amazing. The restaurant dinner was amazing, specially de seafood soup I had. The access door for the rear parking was very convenient. The reception personnel was very helpful especially Renata who did above and beyond to book and explain excursions for me.

Breakfast in my opinion needs more options of cured meats and other hot food.

This was among the nicest places we stayed during a 3+ week visit to Portugal. The grounds are gorgeous and well-kept, and the views over the cliff to the small beach below and out to the Atlantic are beautiful. Breakfasts are served on an outdoor terrace and offer plenty of choice. The staff is competent, helpful and friendly.

Hotel restaurant a little pricey.

Everything was just wonderful! The beautiful nature, and especially the friendly and kind staff, made our stay unforgettable. From the reception and parking assistance to the breakfasts and the restaurant team, everyone was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Thank you so much for such a warm reception!

The only downside was that the heated towel rail in the bathroom wasn’t working, which made the bathroom quite cold.

The location was great with the pool included and beach a 10 minute walk away. You couldn’t ask for better views. Very pretty property. The breakfast was decent and dinner was spectacular. We each had a massage at the spa there and were happy with it. My husband thought the beds could be more comfortable but otherwise the rooms were comfy, spacious, and clean. I think I read some previous negative comments about staff but everyone was very friendly and helpful.

A beautiful boutique hotel with incredible far reaching views of the sea enclosed in beautiful gardens. The rooms are spacious with huge comfortable beds and fully equipped with beach towels bath robes slippers mini bar coffee machine plus luxurious Rituals toiletries and gifts left in our room on arrival. The welcome note and choice of complimentary drinks were appreciated. We stayed during Christmas 2023 and enjoyed our stay immensely. The staff were all incredible - attentive making us feel so welcome and special. I only wish I could remember all their names so I could mention them all here. Nothing was too much trouble and they all went above and beyond to make our stay memorable at this magical time of year. We are looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you all.
