Everything at Orange was very peaceful. The location is great- I preferred it to the old town locations I stayed at previouly- and the patio/garden was lovely. The hostel was at capacity while I stayed and yet all the staff members knew me by name despite only introducing myself once at check in. The staff is clearly interested in their guests. The hostel has more toilets and showers available than other hostels in the area which is really nice. The guests were not very social, meaning people didnt usually meet or hang out in the common areas. Despite being booked full I rarely saw other guests. I am not sure if this was just during my specific stay and it was not an issue for me- just a big change from previous hostels in Lagos were people were constantly hanging out. Everyone I did meet was friendly! Orange3 would especially be the perfect spot for remote workers or if anyone who is socially burnt out, because there is such a quiet and large outdoor space to benefit from and it really is possible to find peace and quiet. Luggage storage and using the showers after check out was also possible and the staff was really friendly about this. Thanks for everything!

Very nice garden makes the place cosy so that u wouldn't want to leave. Fully equipped kitchen, laundry for just €5. Bathrooms are new and well maintained. Nice common room upstairs. Everything is in walkable distance, large supermarket just 10 min away. Loved the place - definitely would come back!

The boxes under the beds look very old and are not convenient to use. Besides, very loud when closing. If those were replaced by nicely-opening drawers - the rooms would be just perfect ! Didn't find any flaws other than that! :)

Very friendly & fun staff. Wonderful garden. A very homey feeling in the hostel. Cleaning staff does an amazing job!! It's always clean and nice in the rooms and bathrooms. Location is good too. Warm and comfy duvets in the bed. Nice terrace.

In the winter it's a little cold in the hostel. But they do what they can with heaters and radiators. Kitchen is super small. The beds make A LOT of noise, it's almost ridiculous. You move your little finger and the whole bed squeaks. They should do something about that...

The location of this hostel was perfect—close enough to the center and old town for easy access, yet far enough from the noise of busier hostels to offer a peaceful stay. It’s also within walking distance to the beaches, taking me about 30-40 minutes to visit all the beaches along the coast. Every single one was within that time frame. If you’re looking for something laid-back and relaxed, this is the ideal spot. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Everything was kept clean, with daily cleaning ensuring a spotless environment. There’s a well-equipped kitchen for cooking, and the staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this hostel, especially because the hostels closer to the beach don’t have many restaurants nearby, meaning you’d need to walk quite a bit or Uber to find food

Cleanliness

A large mirror in female dormitory is essential and a chair. One female staff member queried and had an excuse for everything eg. air conditioning heating was too cold, could have been 22-24 degrees. Kitchen was too small so only one/two people at a time preparing food. Water in showers was never hot enough - it should be turned up in winter. Other than that I enjoyed my stay although no atmosphere for socialising - could have organised a free walk or movie night with popcorn.

The hostel is well placed, nicely located at the heart of Lagos, near everything: The old town, the Coach / Bus Station, the Marina, Churches, bars, restaurants, supermarkets like Pingo Doce, Lidl, etc You can walk out and about everywhere from here. It's impressive, beautiful garden and you almost feel as being in a hotel, to be honest! It's nice and quiet, close to all the main touristic Lagos attractions. I slept like a baby most nights due to the absolute silence and comfortable beds with proper curtains. I was impressed in a very good way. I would stay there again, anytime! The ladies working in reception were lovely! Very friendly and helpful, absolutely spot on!! I would recommend to friends and family!!

I liked everything and I would stay again!!!

Super clean hostel, beautiful garden, common room and terrace. Beds were comfortable. Quiet after 11 pm, as staff emphasise this and close the kitchen at this time as well. Great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. I even extended my stay, as I felt so comfortable.

If the person in the other bunk tends to move during the night, the bed shakes and it kept me up at some points. But it is a hostel, so these things are to be expected. The kitchen is very small for a hostel, but it is always clean and considering everything else, it is possible to work around it, have a laugh about it.

Possibly one of the best hostels I've ever been to. The location is amazing, it's very quiet and sooo clean! The beds were very comfortable which is important to me and the hostel had this wonderful garden where you can chill at. The staff was also very helpful and very welcoming. I loved every second of being here :)

The only "fault" would be that there is no actual sign the says Orange3 hostel so I spent some time finding the entrance. I guess it's not permanent.

I absolutely loved and enjoyed my stay at this hostel that feels like home🍊 The team is very friendly, helpful, competent and the communication with them was very smooth and easy. Thank you Julyanna, Sara, Tiago and Pedro! The rooms were simple, nice, clean and enough spacious (especially the female dorm) and the common areas were just great. The kitchen was very well equipped, there was enough bathrooms, and what I loved the most was the terrace and the beautiful "jungle", the garden with palm and orange trees where guests would hang out. The hostel is perfectly located, very close to the centre and practically anything you need is reachable within a walking distance. And as a bonus you'll hear the church bell ringing from there 🙂 The hostel's atmosphere is quite chilled, calm and has very good vibes. I met really nice people there. Keep up the amazing job, guys🤍

Everything was great.
