The location was in the old town, so steps to all the restaurants and shops. About a 10 - 15 minute walk to a beach.

The room was very small and there was hardly any space to put all.our suitcases because there was a cot set up beside the bed for our daughter with no space around it at all. Very little room to move around. Definitely not a room suitable for 3 people.

Clean and spacious. Love that it comes with a kettle as many places in Lisbon did not. Overall a decent place to stay. Had free lemon water in the lobby too which was convenient. Within walking distance from the beaches.

Blanket is a bit flimsy. The AC did not seem to work at night and would spew hot air. The signs outside all lead you to go up a huge flight of stairs while you could actually go around and take the slope instead to avoid having to carry your suitcase up stairs. Also, the lift doesn't necessarily take you to your floor as some rooms are located a half-floor down. Could use a luggage rack.

Everything. I cannot praise the staff enough. We arrived 2 hours early, we were let leave our suitcases in the room while they finished cleaning the room - which only took 10 minutes. The man at reception was extremely friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were very friendly & pleasant. The room had a tea & coffee making facility. We did not have a balcony as we hadn't booked a room with one but saw one which looked spacious and nice. We were on the ground floor and there was no noise from the street, despite being right at the edge of the old town. In the reception area there were free English language papers, water, coffee and biscuits, for people to help themselves to. The breakfast was a buffet, with ample choice, again all the staff was friendly & helpful. And there was a lovely large rooftop terrace, which was very peaceful and looked over towards the port and beach area of Lagos or the old town rooftops. We were able to leave our suitcases there after check out, which is 12 noon, until we were ready to collect them later. This is an amazing hotel, very reasonable yet it provides everything you want. All areas are spotless. The staff however make it a special place. I cannot praise them enough.

Absolutely nothing.

The staff were super friendly, the location was exceptional — right off the main square and near lots of good restaurants. Everything was clean and satisfactory for my needs. This is not a luxurious hotel but it more than met everything I was looking for. Breakfast was good and included eggs and bacon, cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee (not so good coffee) and pastries. They even had lemon fused water in the lobby.

Luggage storage was in an open area in the basement. But I left my things there without incident, and I know others did as well.

The hotel offered great value, though I cannot comment on breakfast. The hotels position could not be bettered. Turn right and a few yards down the bank and you are in the main square. Go down the steps almost in front of the hotel and you are on the river front. Turn left, and you’re only steps away from the Mare restaurant, (on top of the fish market) with the best views in Lagos. Yet, although so central, it was a very quiet street. I have some walking difficulties, but I managed fine. The staff in the hotel were excellent without exception, going above and beyond where they could. The cleanliness of the hotel is also worthy of mention. We enjoyed our tiled balcony, (no view but not overlooked), and also the rooftop terrace with brilliant views out to sea and the city.

Only one sachet of coffee per person was provided. There were no bar facilities available, I’m unsure why it was unmanned, but early each evening we enjoyed our own wine (€2.75 per bottle in local mini supermarket) with glasses and ice provided by the hotel.

Location was great and the staff were very friendly. It was clean, just a bit on the older side. If you are looking for a good price for only a couple nights, the hotel was fine. We don't hang in hotels much when we travel.

Thin walls as you could hear activies of other rooms. Our AC was not functioning properly but as we only stayed 2 nights and it was cool in the evenings we could crack the patio door. If you are looking for views, probably not the place to stay.

Superb location - central. Down a few stairs finds one in a square by the taxi rank and bus stop. Many good restaurants and bars and shopping easily accessed from nearby hotel. Our room had very comfortable twin beds (requested) and was a good size. The bathroom was a good size and both room and bathroom were very clean. This hotel is older, decor somewhat dated, but is very very clean.

Although a kettle and cups are in the room, NO tea/coffee/sugar is supplied. Cheap cut as we only stayed 3 nights & to buy this is unnecessary. Considering the cost of the room 2 teabags, 2 coffee sachets & 2 sachets of sugar would not detract from their profits. Neverless there are many restaurants a walk away to purchase a coffee/tea is you get there after they open or before they close!

The location was excellent. Located fairly close to the bus station and a walkable distance to the train station . The air conditioning unit worked well. The staff were nice. The windows were well insulated and muffled outdoor noises.

The bed was very firm, some would call it hard. No mini-fridge. There was one coffee maker for all lodgers at a cost of one euro for each small coffee pod.

The hotel is situated right near the Lagos Old Town Center, tucked away in a pretty alley. The staff were incredible and each one of them were incredibly kind and helpful. They are probably the most helpful hotel staff I have ever interacted with. The room was spacious and clean. There is enough space to store your luggage. There is breakfast available for 12 euros/person (which I did not try).

They could have provided water bottles in the room.
