honestly one of the cleanest & modern hotels we’ve ever stayed at. super super beautiful renovation’s & beautiful interior design. the outside pool area was super cute as well although it was definitely a bit too cold to actually swim at this time of the year but it was still nice. the lobby was very cute as well, they have cabinets filled with stuff you might need. we even didn’t bring the right plug converter for Canadian plugs and they had a bunch that were left by other guests and they even let us keep it for the rest of our travels. super kind management and amazing hotel. also, the location is amazing if you want to stay in old Lagos. it was in the middle of a bunch of restaurants and shops. me and my boyfriend are really picky and usually we are uncomfortable in hotels because they aren’t as clean or nice as advertised but everything was so clean. I wasn’t afraid to shower like I usually am in other hotels lol. and the sheets and towels were all fresh and clean. one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at.

The location is excellent close to the old town shops and restaurants and a short walk away across the inlet to the marina and beautiful beaches. Ther accommodation is excellent so well appointed and beautiful communal spaces both inside and pool area.Lovly little welcome of butter,honey and jam starter pack for first breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful,we had a slight problem outside normal hours and it was sorted with a phone call and fixed within the hour.Would highly recommended.

We over look the beautiful square and a julett balcony but unfortunately some of the local alcohol drinkers congregated there and it could get quite noisy.ones the doors were closed we could not hear them .

Mostly everything! Beautiful location- on a charming square- super responsive hosts- apartment/room was super clean- comfortable- as described. Super close walk to EVERYTHING- great restaurants- Black and White everyday! Don't bother with anything else! The beach, the marina, stores, etc..

The ONLY complaint is the people staying above us sounded like a heard of elephants until past 11pm at night- and I had earplugs in and white noise machine on. (I'm an early to bed person) Maybe a family...moving furniture it sounded like...I did NOT tell our gracious hosts b/c there was NOTHING she could have done. Not sure how you solve that problem. I would stay here again- BUT- only on the top floor so not to have this issue again.

The pictures don’t lie. The property is right in the heart of the old town. The old, charming building is completely renovated and the apartments are new, clean and very beautifully decorated. There are a lot of stairs (which didn’t bother us). The people were very lovely and kind. The apartment was very quiet as well (but since it was early April, Lagos itself was a lot quieter than in the high season). Even though it is an apartment building, they do a bit of housekeeping every other day. We didn’t realize we would get new toilet paper and bought some. 😉

In the Q&A sections it says that the pool is heated. That is not true. It’s really cold in early April. Like really. I think it’s reasonable not to heat a pool during the cold months, my only complaint is that it was stated otherwise.

Property is located right in the centre of Lagos with so many restaurants, shops, cafes, bars and much more right on your doorstep. The beach is also in walking distance which is fantastic. The property itself is brilliant and I couldn’t fault it in anyway. The property is spotlessly clean with some of the nicest staff you will ever find. The pool area is a really nice place to relax if you don’t feel like going to the beach. Anything we asked for the staff were so helpful and gave plenty of recommendations of things to do and places to east. We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in Lagos. I would highly recommend this property!

Casa Margo is a wonderful place to stay. Our two-bedroom apartment was beautiful, clean, modern and very comfortable. Lovely views out to Praca Luis de Camoes. The kitchen was very well-appointed with everything you might need. The staff were very welcoming and helped with our bags. No parking onsite but we could drop off bags outside (on R. dos Quintais) and then parked in the free public carpark up the hill. Unfortunately, we stayed in Winter so could not use the pool (it is not heated) but it would be great in summer.

An option for a communal laundry facility would be useful.

I recently stayed at Casa Margo in Lagos, Portugal, for my birthday trip and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It felt so warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, providing me with a map and a great introduction to the city, along with excellent suggestions for things to do. The rooms were modern, clean, and perfectly located in the center of the city. I absolutely loved my stay and would highly recommend Casa Margo to anyone visiting Lagos. It truly made my birthday trip special!

We appreciated the warm welcome at the reception. You just ring the bell. Easy and comfortable like in a hotel. Everything is thought about to make our stay comfortable. From cooking oil to sunscreens and beachtowels. The appartment is modern and comfortable with a smart tv. It is located in the center of the town. A short walk to the beach and the cliffs.

We were in room 12, in front of the very small pool. Nice at this time of the year. You have a direct access to the small shared terrace. In the summer it could get busy.

Property is set in the middle of Lagos old town, our appt 17 overlooked the square with a balcony, the location was superb. Staff were super friendly, great local knowledge, had taken time to prepare local map of recommended restaurants places etc. Room was spotlessly clean, modern well maintained We had small dog with us which was made to feel welcome and catered for. Definitely oet friendly. Being in the centre of the walled old town obviously parking is not possible, however there are plenty of free parking locations within 5 - 10 minutes walk. TIP. We parked car first, walked to property, booked in and gained access code. At the rear of property is a back gate with which you gain entry to property using access code. We then returned to car drove to rear of property opened back gate which was on same level as appt dropped of cases in room and returned car to free car park, really easy way not to haul suitcases through old town. Checked out using same method.

Casa Margo was the perfect place to stay in Lagos. It’s right in the center of the old town so you can very easily walk to anything — restaurants, bars, and the beach! The rooms are such a relaxing spot to come back to after a long day of walking and swimming. We especially like that they had a fridge and a little kitchenette. Even though it’s in a main square, the noise we could hear from the room was very minimal. There’s also have a very nice little pool in the back for a quick dip.
