The staff are so friendly! Especially the sweet cleaner who works very hard all by herself and Parkesh (? Not sure of spelling) at the front desk. The hotel is in a prime location for walking around old town. The room is basic but sufficient if you’re not looking to spend loads of time in it. Breakfast was included and they serve eggs so you can get some protein. Overall good value for money. I love the balcony for morning tea.

Since it is in a super prime location, it can be noisy at night sometimes depending on the night. Bars in the area are open very late. We just put on the A/C fan to drown out the noise. Not too big of a deal for us, but if you’re a very sensitive sleeper, you may be disturbed in the night by loud people outside.

Very nice three star hotel on a quiet street in the very center of the city, very close to the beaches and the station. We were lucky to be the first customers of the new season on the day when the hotel reopened after the winter renovation. Everything was great: very comfortable rooms with a bathtub, super comfy beds and pillows, spacious balcony, air conditioning, refrigerator, and a TV with many international channels! Large mirrors in the room, a table, and a stable internet connection which was important for a remote work. After the first night we immediately extended our stay. Special thanks to Madame who met us early in the morning on the day of arrival and kept our luggage, as well as to the kindest Mr. receptionist who was always ready to help, and of course to the girls serving a wonderful breakfast with a fresh good coffee!

To use the simple 4 number safe in the room you must contact front desk who will then contact the safe company. The safe company must then contacted the hotel manager to confirm you want to use the safe in your room and come then come to the hotel to set it up. There is a daily fee for using the safe. Front desk staff were not keen about setting up the safe for me. I have travelled all over the world and never has a small 4 # room safe be so so much work. Had to change rooms because the window didn’t lock and could be slide open from the outside stairs beside the window.

Rinalto and Mr Pankaj were so wonderful. So very pleasant and so very helpful in every way!!! Very accomodating.. And concerned with guests happiness!!

bathrooms a bit small

Really wonderful staff. Yasyr at the reception made us feel truly welcomed. Breakfast team was also very courteous and upbeat. Breakfast buffet was simple fare, but fresh and delicious (plus for fresh fruits and bread)! We ended up staying an extra night. Great location. The room was clean. Comfortable bed. Great air conditioner. Ok dryer.

The sink and shower drains were holding water. A real pitty, because the room in general was very clean. The downside of the central location was the noise. Also, we ended up in the room adapted for individuals with disabilities, which was on the ground floor by the reception and lobby bathrooms, so the noise from comings and goings was non stop through the night...

The hotel is well-situated in the old town. The furniture is a bit old (especially a wardrobe), but the rooms with a balcony had a nice charm and street view. A very comfortable bed. The cleaning service was excellent. Breakfast was convenient and sufficient. A very nice hotel personnel. The hotel felt overall safe and welcoming. Well-priced for the received value.

As mentioned in other reviews, noise from streets is a huge issue. We knew about this problem and chose this hotel anyway for its lower price and location. However, I slept every night with ear plugs. Without ear plugs I wouldn’t have been able to sleep. If you don’t mind it, I highly recommend this hotel. If you don’t want to sleep with ear plugs, consider other options or maybe rooms without a balcony. Everything else was good or great. Here are only other areas for improvements: 1) enriching breakfast with some pastries and more vegetables; 2) replacing an old (and a bit stinky) wardrobe with new one.

Great location in the heart of things. We were able to walk here from the rail station. The breakfast was good. All was clean and well tended. I appreciated the small balcony and thought the facilities were fantastic for the price. I had really expected the place to be run down but it wasn't.

The hotel is not insulated from the sound of partying at night, and there was a lot of it! I now know why there were earplugs available at the front desk. Likely, the hotel is priced to accou t or this factor. The hotel is at the top of a hill. We are fitter than most retirees and didn't mind carrying our bags up and down the hill. Most of our peers would have wanted to take a taxi.

The location is perfect . Near the bus terminal and train station. Very close ( walking distance to the marina and beaches) right in the old town. Very clean room, most comfortable bed and pillows , great aircon, balcony, housekeeping and reception staff so friendly and helpful can’t do enough for you . Nice breakfast . Stop looking book this place u will not regret it . Perfect hotel, price, location, staff

N/a perfect place for us . Exceeded our expectations

The hotel was central to the city, no more than a 2 minute walk to different bars and shopping areas. with a shop and cash machine next door, along with hotel lobby vending machine. a small hot and cold breakfast selection was available and the staff were friendly and organised, considering the very unique nationwide power failure outage.

We arrived late to the hotel and were met by the lovely Syed Yasir. He made a cup of coffee for both of us and talked with us. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. They even upgraded our room for us which was a lovely touch. It was really nice to be met with such kindness and hospitality.

The location means you are next to a busy street so I found it a little bit loud. The place itself is a little lived in and not very modern. But if you're looking for a place to lay your head for the night that's cheap, it's perfect.
