It's a great deal for the price, despite what the other review's were saying there are no bugs whatsoever. They gave us fresh towels and even a little fan to cool down at night. The staff was lovely every person was helpful and really kind to us. The breakfast is really good they offer yoghurts, cereal,musli,coffee, hot chocolate,tea, orange juice, bread and buns as well as things to put on them like jams and cheese and ham. You can eat as much as you like. The whole place is cleaned everyday and the bathroom is well equipped, they even have a shower gel. Overall a great experience.

The only bad sides are not really their fault. The place is located in the lagos old town it can get really loud at night, you kinda get used to it but some screams still wake you up.

Perfectly placed for restaurants etc. We fined in using the kitchen, which had everything g for whipping up a healthy meal and consuming it in the courtyard. Staff were amazing for check in and explaining the set up. The room was spotless, facilities comfortable. We're through-hikers and it suited our needs. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Building is tired but it all worked well and good value for money.

We were opposite a bar and, of course, it was noisy. Sadly an ugly brawl broke out on the street very late - typical English who binge drink - but that's not the establishment's fault. Apart from that - all good

I had a great stay at this hostel in Lagos! What stood out most was the excellent communication and how flexible and accommodating the staff were when I had to make some last-minute changes to my travel dates — they were incredibly understanding and helpful throughout the process. The included breakfast was also a pleasant surprise — better than what you’d typically expect from a budget hostel, with a good variety and fresh options each morning. Overall, for such an affordable place, the experience exceeded my expectations. A well-run, friendly hostel that I’d gladly recommend to other travelers!

The staff were so nice and helpful! I arrived at 8am and they let me eat free breakfast and use all the facilities and then I could leave my luggage at the hostel until the check in time. The hostel has everything you need, big kitchen, free breakfast (yogurt, cereals, bread, fruit, vegetables, cheese, ham,…), regularly cleaned bathrooms. I really enjoyed my stay!

The only thing is it’s pretty noisy because of the street next to it and the hostel isn’t really modern

I enjoyed my staying at the Pousada - It is a spacious hostel in the heart of Lagos with nice common area, pool table, sitting area and good wifi. All the receptionist and cleaning staff are very nice and happy to help you out :) Room was simple but with plugs, storage room and private lights. Shared bathrooms are cleaned regularly and got given new towels after 2 days. Breakfast is also good.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I got a lot of good advice and they were very warm - all of them. I slept pretty good my nights there. The location is also awesome and central yet hidden away enough to not be right in the middle of everything. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Fairly good breakfast as well and they were flexible when I had to eat early before diving.

Bathrooms could have been cleaner. Everyall not the newest rooms and facilities but all the good things make up for it. No privacy curtains or towel.

Breakfast was great, majority of the staff was very friendly. They provided an early breakfast too which was very much appreciated. Relaxed hostel.

The fan in the room is tiny and should be upgraded to a bigger one. The bed with a steel frame was extremely noisy. When we arrived a lady at reception was not very helpful, didn't check us in and just informed the room was not ready. She was speaking on the phone for quite some time before attending to us as we had just arrived.

Great location within walking distance to the beaches and right in the old town. Comfortable bed, good shower and good breakfast with a range of options (cereal, yoghurt, fruits, bread, meats, cheese and spreads) even had a coffee machine. Staff were friendly and offered us a fan as it was quite hot while we were there. Always offered fresh towels too.

Bathrooms could be cleaner but hard when many people are using them. One staff member who did the breakfast was a bit grumpy.

Reception & staff are friendly. Female dorm and bathrooms are clean and neat. Loved the breakfast! 9/10. Mattress on the bunk bed was very comfortable 10/10.

The female dorm was a bit noisy at night from a busy restaurant across the narrow street. Shutting the window helped, except during loud, party-like moments. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

the Hostel is situated very centrally, and close to the port. The breakfast is also excellent. Bathrooms are clean. It has a big open courtyard, where people can spend free time pleasantly.

The bathroom had 2 showers and 2 toilets, and during the weekend, there were too many young students, girls that were making almost a queue for the bathroom. That was not pleasant....also the cupboard in the room, it did not have a key to lock valuable things in side.
