Good location in the city center, nice breakfast included (but don't expect any lactose free products;)

The fact there was no laundry rack or nothing similar available. When you come in summer, spend time on beach and have some wet towels and swimming suits that you want to get dry by next morning it's a bit unpleasant you have nowhere to dry them (our room had no balcony) We had to use hangers and had them all around the room to dry stuff. If you want to get close to your apartment by car, one needs to be ready to only throw the luggage out of car quickly and move on with the car through very narrow streets to get to the parking.

Location and the facilities were in good order. We were on the top floor and loved the terrace off the room.

Our room was in the eves of the house and much of the space was not functional due to sloping roof. Room was list as 40 sq/m but was not near that size. Loved the terrace attached to the room.

Breakfast was great and delicious. Room was very adequate but at first had a cleaning room smell to it that I guess we got used to. The location was perfect!

I didn't like at all that when we were looking for an extra day at the end of our 4 day booking (Apr 6-10) that you then booked us for the day ahead of our booking. Apr 5 which we didn't want or request. And when I contacted you and said that was incorrect and decided to stick with our original booking, we were charged for it. The receptionist who booked us in, saw my email that I sent on Mar 22nd refusing Apr 5. Pure confusion trying to settle this extra 1 day charge. Have sent notes to you and Booking.com and no one claims responsibility.

We were blown away the minute we walked into our room, it was on the top floor with a balcony, complete with sea and city views. The description of the room and the hotel's facilities is spot on, we had a brilliant stay and would not hesitate to recommend Residence Lagos to our friends and family. The breakfast is sumptuous and prepared fresh each day, the perfect way to start our day. It's in an excellent location to the many shops and restaurants Lagos offers, plus the walks the many beaches and cliff top views. The staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble, special mention to Luis who check us in and Luana who farewelled us and gave us two cookies. Thank you Residence Lagos for making our first trip to Lagos such a memorable one.

The only downside was the parking, we were given instructions and photos via What'sApp, but it was a little tricky to find. There are people in the car parks offering to find you a car spot and say they'll keep an eye on your car. The man we spoke with wanted 5 Euros, we ended up giving him 2 Euros. We also found a better car park which wasn't in the dirt.

The room on the top floor with the balcony was lovely! The staff were friendly and welcoming - they even offered us a bottle of wine at check-in, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was good and the location was great and close to everything.

there was no espresso machine, the shower leaked a bit. Parking is about a 5-minute walk away, but there was always space available (though it might be trickier in high season). Still, we had a very pleasant stay!

Great convenient location allowing one to walk out the door into old town yet street is very quiet. Beautiful patio with great views and fun to watch cats, street life especially at dusk and at night. Wonderful breakfast with much fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, fresh squeezed orange juice, yogurt and cheeses. Coffee. Spacious room and bathroom and patio. Be careful if you are tall as ceiling is pitched. Able to provide gluten free bread. On sight manager and breakfast staff very friendly and helpful. House is walking distance to several world renowned beaches such as Camilo Beach (30 minutes walk) which has a stunning boardwalk and trails nearby as well as a great restaurant you can eat at or get a drink.

Pillows were unacceptable to sleep on. They were completely flat. Hand and bath towels looked like they were twenty years old. Hard to believe these were the towels provided from a country that makes and exports towels around the world. There is an odor coming from the shower and sink drains which my husband who,is an engineer said is a plumbing issue. We kept the bathroom door closed at all times. Bathroom however was renovated and very clean. Shower head was broken but was fixed same day we brought this to manager’s attention. Free parking is nearby but was full so we had to put the car in an overnight garage nearby. Garage was closed Fri-Sunday so the garage owner had to give us a key to get the car in/out on those days.

There was fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast every morning and fresh fruit. The balcony off our room was very nice and had great views of the city. Lower level rooms did not have a balcony or view. There was a bottle of white wine waiting for us when we arrived. The room was very comfortable and there was a nice breeze when we opened the windows.

The used cups and dishes were not removed from our room. We had to take these to the kitchen ourselves. The coffee was not very good. We paid extra for the balcony and I'm glad that we did but I would look for something less expensive in the future.

The view was lovely, the bed was quite comfortable, and the breakfast spread was simple yet satisfying. The location was absolutely fantastic; it was quiet while still being conveniently situated in the old town. There were a wonderful restaurant and bakery just a short 2-minute walk away. Overall, a wonderful and peaceful stay.

Tall people beware: while my partner and I are relatively short people (under 170cm tall), we kept hitting our heads on the beams in our room. Just something to consider before booking a room on the top floor.

Lovely and clean property in an ideal location. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast options that included freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh pastries. The coffee was also excellent. The little touches like the bottle of wine, port and departure cookies certainly added to the overall experience. Our ocean view room with a balcony was perfect. It was nice that they had gluten free bread on request. A dairy free/gluten free cream/milk would also be a nice option but if not drink orange juice. Uber work great in the area.

Service was awesome however our bed was a little harder than we are used to. We loved the stairs but could be an issue for mobility challenged. It might be nice to have beach towels available for warm weather and beach days.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very nice, clean and very quiet. Breakfast was perfect. Great location…. close to the old town and close to the beach. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Larger coffee cups (mugs instead of cups and saucers) in our room would have worked better for us. Hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes would have been nice.
