The location was ideal. It's a good price for all the basic facilities you need overnight. Clean room, clean bathroom and nice towels , kettle and hairdryer if needed. The staff were very friendly and carried my 20kg! suitcase up steep stairs to reception on the 1st floor, I was extremely grateful for that kindness above and beyond the level of service one might expect. Be advised that there is no lift but for the fit It's definitely worth it. If travelling from Campanha Porto's transport hub for train snd bus It's perfect. A pre booked taxi from the airport was less than £20 although it's cheaper on the metro. I highly recommend this hotel the owner was extremely kind and helpful.

Nothing to dislike, however it's necessary to be aware there are steep stairs staff were very willing to help with luggage so it's not a problem for anyone able to climb stairs.

I travel regularly to Porto and flight arrivals/departures necessitate an overnight stay. I have no idea why I haven’t stayed here before. It suited me perfectly. The room was comfortable as was the bed and I didn’t find the building particularly noisy. Nicely and simply decorated with a layout that has been well thought out. Good shower and everything was very clean and well presented. Even though there is no lift, the stairs are easily manageable providing you don’t have heavy luggage. The host made me feel welcome and carried my case to my room. Easy check in/out. There is a handful of very reasonably priced places to eat close by and in the same street, a Mini Preço supermarket opposite and Campanhã train and Metro stations are about 5 minutes walk away. If you’re looking for a decent, no fuss place for a short stay at excellent value for money, then I would recommend it. I shall certainly be back.

We stayed at 'Hospedaria Londres' for a single night. It is close to the Campanha Railway station (just a couple of minutes walk). Duoro River & Luis I Bridge is about 20 minutes from this property. The hotel premises were clean. One of the ladies from the staff welcomed us and the check-in process was smooth. She even helped us to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor, where our room was located. The room & the bathroom were of sufficient space. They were clean & had good lighting. The bathroom was clean and hot water worked without an issue. Towels, soap & amenities were available. Overall, it was a good stay at Hospedaria Londres.

The upper floors are only accessible through the staircase. The width of a single step is relatively small, so you have to be careful when descending the staircase with your luggage.

I have to start with the location. I arrived with train from Lisbon and I could see the property as soon as I left the station. No, this doesn't mean that you will hear trains and loud noises. Nice young lady checked me in to the room on first floor and the room is definition of comfort. Leather sofa, large comfortable bed, just right bathroom, view on the nice, small street, working AC and Star Wars on the TV, what more can you ask for?!

There is no small fridge in room. There is space in the room for fridge store, not 1 small fridge. This isn't big minus but management should think about this. I used kitchen shared by the guests and it was solid alternative. That would be all.

Same receptionist as last time, very quick check in. We found our room was only a double bed made up when it should have been a twin/family room. The receptionist quickly made the settee up to a functional bed when we pointed out what was booked. Room was clean and warm, decent bathroom as well. Free tea and coffee also available in a communal area of hotel. Hotel is convenient for numerous cafes and opposite Campanha station for main line rail and local metro.

Stayed with my 80 year old father so a lift would be nice but understand that this probably couldn't be retrofitted into a property like this. Fortunately, the building doesn't go higher than 2nd floor.

The staff was very friendly. You can walk to the place in just a few minutes from the nearest train/subway station (Campanha), from which you can get to the airport. The price was quite reasonable. The area is not very touristy, so it's more authentic Portuguese than a lot of the center of town is.

Other people staying there made quite a bit of noise (but the hotel took care of that problem after I complained to them). I guess it was just a bit of bad luck that our "neighbors" those two nights were noisy. The place a little far from the center (but that can also be an advantage).

Warm welcome. Quiet. Clean, very comfortable bed, lovely hot shower. Super convenient for Porto bus and rail station.

Only an interior window - that is a window that opens out onto the staircase not to the outside - this was not clear on Booking.com website in English but apparently it is in Portuguese! The photo on the website is somewhat deceptive as it shows a window in the room which there is - but one that opens to the interior of the building. However there is a good air conditioning in the room.

I was greeted and warmly welcomed by Deborah, who has such a bubbly personality I couldn't help but be in a goof mood and she got me squared in a flash. The room was very cozy and well appointed. Will definitely stay there again and I will recommend this place to anyone going to Porto.

Would be nice if there were a kettle in the room but with multiple bars and restaurants right outside the door, I can't complain.

The deluxe family room was very spacious, clean and bright with three large windows overlooking the street. There was air conditioning and the double beds and sofa bed were comfortable. Debra at the reception was very kind and even carried our bags up the stairs! The location is very conveniently located near to Campanhã train station and Mini Preço supermarket. As well there are several cafés and restaurants nearby. The price ratio was very good value.

I really wanted to give a perfect 10 for the review, as the room perfectly met our expectations. However, it was a bit unpleasant to be told a day before checking in that if we wanted to open the sofa bed in the room, we would need to pay an extra €10. On the room description and for the price which I booked, it clearly stated the unit included two beds (a double bed and sofa bed). When I tried to explain to the manager, he said that there was a choice at the time of booking to pay extra to use the sofa bed, but I could not find this on Booking.com. Even now, I cannot see anything on the Booking.com website about this. To avoid any misunderstanding and unpleasantness I suggest that the listing clearly state about the extra charge to open the sofa bed.

- Location: close to the all transportation means (bus, metro, train, taxi), 2 min. to walk. - Host: very friendly, helpful, available on call 24hrs if needed. - Check-in/out: well organised, clear info about all rules, flexible time of arrival possible after previous info to the host. - House: clean, renovated inside; narrow stairs, no elevator. - Room: small with private bathroom (big plus), clean, some details could be renovated but doesn't matter much; comfortable bed; no window to outside but internal one to corridor (doesn't matter for us - the room is not visible by the open window for others in corridor); lack of air condition; wardrobe with drawers and mirror in place; heater available if needed; clean towels and bedding (hotel class). Attractive price for very good quality. We will come here again.
