Very nice breakfast every day, and the spa (steam room, hot tub and massage pool) were a nice perk

the bath/shower was not as clean as I expect. Black mold stains on the tile grout. Also, the onsite restaurant was never open for dinner while we there, so the two restaurants in town where the only option to eat. Description also mentioned a natural hot spring - this was under construction, and had been for about 3 years, so not available to us to use. That was the reason for choosing this specific hotel.

the hotel and room was very comfortable. It is a bit outdated in some areas but overall really nice. Staff was fantastic and Breakfast was great.

Fitness center needed updating, airflow, more weights, benches and treadmill. Updated business center and bathroom grout work as over time things get warned. Better blow dryer and iron/iron board.

The hotel was very basic but also very clean. The spa was great for relaxing. The room was clean, large and had a beautiful view of the river. Breakfast was varied and very good with traditional food. The hotel is located in a very calm place, next to the river, close to two restaurants and a bar to have a drink in the evening (there's only one bar in this place). Wifi in your room, fairly good signal...parking outside of the hotel.

The spa service was disorganized, too many people and not enough chairs to put things on. The spa area was too small to allow so many people at the same time. And literally nothing at all to do neArby ad you are approx 5miles away from civilization, if we want to do something different like take a coffe and see some people, we have to drive like 8 minutes to find the civilization...

I really liked the breakfast and spa, they were really nice. I had really relaxed day in the spa. The breakfast has a great variety and it is really delicious.

The hotel gave us a premium room, but the minibar was dirty and the room was with a smoke smell. We request if it was possible to have another room, and the hotel change us to another room. The staff was really helpful.

This hotel is located right on the N222 road that takes you scenically along the River Douro so is easy to find. Limited parking at the Hotel however there was plenty of space in the quiet roads alongside. The staff I met spoke enough English to make communication easier. There is a lift to the bedroom floors that has a clear glass side and room 101 was excellent. Well equipped and comfortably spacious (I did request a superior room). The bathroom was tiled from floor to ceiling in marble tiles, Again, very spacious. I liked the efficiency of a set of QR codes beside the bed that provided access to information about al hotel services. I did not use the Spa on my overnight stay however dinner was excellent. There is a small marina area opposite the Hotel that provides a good place for a walk and to get alongside the Douro river. There was space for selling local produce here but it was not open at the time of my visit (early April 2022). Breakfast is self service with a very good choice.

With a continental style breakfast I did not expect to see a container of bacon, egg & sausage. I tried this however the container struggled to keep the contents hot.

Breakfast was amazing ,couldn’t ask for more..spa was excellent..room was perfect ,toilet was very clean ..but…old fashion decorating..
