Lovely hotel, with a nice feel and location. We had a hire car and had no problems parking or getting around. The breakfast was of a very good standard. The room size was good with a modern feel. The staff were good and helpful. The courtesy car drivers are friendly and efficient.

The lack of real cups in the room! The policy of paper cups in the rooms instead of proper crockery feels inappropriate and not suitable for the use given. You can make a hot drink but only in a flimsy paper cup with no handle! Feels like a small matter, but these make the difference.

Plenty of breakfast options available - it'd have to be a very fussy eater who couldn't find something suitable ! Had dinner one evening in the restaurant which was also good. Lots of space by the pool and never any difficulty finding a sunbed. The room was a good size, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Nice to have a little grassy garden for a 'balcony' for a change (we had a pool view room) ! As often is the case, some previous negative reviews made us wary in advance, but our worries were completely unfounded.

A couple of times there was a small bottleneck queue at the pool bar, which could have done with an extra pair of hands. The hotel is an easy ten minute downhill walk from the beach, but be warned it feels very steep coming back ! The hotel shuttle car was often available for us, but an Uber is also typically only €3-5 (Uber & Bolt are very cheap in Portugal)

Overall we loved it! Friendly staff, super clean room, and spacious (we had the standard one, no balcony). The bathroom size was totally fine for us. Nice pool! Free shuttle downtown and back ALL DAY which we thought was great service. We would advise you make a reservation in advance so you don't have to wait for an available seat, but even this was no problem for us, as we waited max 30 min. They let us to check-out an hour later which was also very appreciated.

We recommend this hotel and would come again. Just 2 small things, the restaurant/pool kitchen only opening at 1pm and us not being able to get even a salad or a wrap before that. And our left window wasn't locking so "anyone" could slide it open from the outside - just a little bit though, because it has a like a safety length, so I don't think anyone could fit through it. I would be nice to be able to lock it anyway though.

As always with Sheraton, the rooms (and the building in general) are beautifully designed and extremely pleasant to stay in. We especially appreciated the breakfast experience: my partner is gluten-intolerant, and the staff kindly provided her with a dedicated plate of gluten-free bread upon request. A thoughtful touch that truly made a difference. We also appreciated the free parking underground, protecting the car from the sun and the heat, and the kindness of the staff.

Our room (C113) was unfortunately quite exposed to road noise: trucks or motorbikes frequently passed by at high speed, which could be very noisy at night in the room. We were also surprised a few times by the loud slamming of doors, which echoed through the corridors. Lastly, the hotel’s location feels a bit odd, surrounded by roads that are poorly maintained for a walk down to the beach. It creates a slightly awkward first impression despite the overall quality of the hotel itself.

Villa has the small terrace with a grass and feel secluded, despite being at the center of everything at the same time, I could watch the kids splashing from it, which is perfect when you need to have some me time and not being around other people

I didn’t like that there were certain restrictions regarding the restaurant services near the pool. When kids are involved, there shouldn’t be any limitations to buy water or, at least, the ice cream in a heat. Other than that everything was amazing. Also there might be some live music or danças para crianças

Our stay was incredible and I am very happy to share that this year they included a welcome pack for dogs. The pack content was very good, including a ball, waste bags ans dispenser, and a complementary food. The pack itself is a water and food container. They have also adapt an area for dogs in one of the external garden areas which is very appreciated. They have improve in the dogs welcome a lot form the past year. The room we had was a queen room which was spacious and the bed was massive and very comfy. The pool was great and there were plenty of sun loungers to use. We had breakfast included and it was well worth the money. There was so much food to choose from and they catered for dietary requirements (diary free) too. The staff were friendly and helpful and helped to make our stay really enjoyable. The gym is small but functional. The pool bar serves food throughout the day and there’s a selection of snacks, ice creams and drinks to choose from.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the hotel. The only real downside was that it’s a 10 minute walk from the beach. The way down is fine but the way back is up a huge hill. Completely manageable if you’re fit and healthy and there is an option to get a free shuttle, but this needs booking in advance which isn’t ideal if you’re not 100% sure of your plans a few days in advance.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, staff were very friendly, the pool area was very nice and the breakfast was pretty good.

Unfortunately, the sofa bed that was used by our son, was very squeaky and every time he turned, we woke up from the noise, so our nights were interrupted. All that reception was able to offer, was to place a mattress in the room but our son did not want to sleep on the floor. I would recommend that the hotel replaces the sofa beds!

It was quite and calm despite the summer season. We spent an amazing time relaxing in the nice and comfy balinese style double sunbed. Healthy meals in the pool bar. Spacious room with great view. At breakfast staff was very kind providing assistance to my request (hot non dairy milk with coffee).

The breakfast buffet option is good but limited. The cleaning ladies knock every morning around 9.30. I didn't leave the sign "not interrupt" because didn't expect them to show up so early.

Good location in Sesimbra. Check-in / checkout was easy, the onsite restaurant had good food, especially the breakfast. Easy parking right outside our room. Apartment was clean although the floor tiling had a few snags so we had to watch our socks.

The kid's play area (with playstations etc.) was closed due to water damage, but given that the area was hit with very unseasonable rains I don't blame the resort for that. There were no sheets for the sofa bed, which we discovered a bit last minute.
