The staff were great. Very warm and friendly. The room was beautiful.

Breakfast, was a standard buffet. Unfortunately, the vegetarian options were considerably low. Dinner, was a set menu-- I don't think this was previously advertised. Nevertheless, I was not impressed by the options available. Much better to visit the surrounding restaurants or go into the city which is only thirty-minutes away. The hallway was far too dark. There was no welcome guide/instruction pamphlet for guests. This is needed for guests to find where things are/ how to use them e.g. the thermometer etc. Avoided the outside swimming pool as it was swarming with flies. I booked a massage, however, the room was so cold that it ruined my experience.

Large room with an enormous and comfortable double bed. Parking on site. Breakfast was good. Suitable location for visiting the South Bank of the River Tagus and nearby beaches such as Fonte da Telha

The decor of the common areas is very "Gothic" with la ow level of lighting - a question of personal taste. The swimming pool is in the spa area which costs an extra EUR 12 a day.

We travelled as a family 2 adults and 1 child(4years old). The hotel was clean with great facilities. We only stayed 2 nights. The hotel accomodates children but would say it was child friendly. We had a meal at the resturant which was very tasty but no simple options for children. Lidl and a petrol station where near by so we stocked up on snacks and lunch. Overall a good stay.

We was provided with a cot bed for a 4 year old. He had to sleep in between us as no additional sofa bed or child travel bed provided. As mentioned above no child menu for dinner. Wouldn't recommend as a main holiday destination with a child.

It's not a big hotel conveniently located near the road. The hotel has a charming courtyard with a bar and an outdoor pool. Inside, there is a spa, a relaxation area, and a restaurant. The rooms are not small and come with good air conditioning. We had a standard room with windows facing the road, but even with the windows closed, the room was comfortable and quiet. The lighting in the room is a bit dim. And yes, there is a glass wall separating the shower and toilet! :)) The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. During the day, you can relax by the pool, which was a great option for us in September since there were very few people around. I believe a rating of 8.5 is fair.

However, the spa wasn't really worth the 10 euros. It offers only a steam room and an indoor pool, but honestly, with sunny weather, it’s much nicer to swim outside rather than indoors. The outdoor pool is small and shallow. As for the breakfasts, they were of average quality. Overall, it's a nice place, especially if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, but the spa experience could be better.

The hotel is nice. I liked the huge comfy bed, spacious room. There was a daily cleaning service. The swimming pool is cool, refreshing. It was kinda crowded over the weekend but that’s completely understandable. We had no issues with the noises; it was super calm during the night, no parties or noises outside. The personnel was welcoming and kind. We had tons of questions where to go, how to get to point B (we didn’t have a car) so the girls at reception were kind to print us the directions and explain where to go. My partner used the spa few times, and the Turkish bath was not working thought all our stay. He enjoyed the massage though, it was an experience worth paying for. Also be aware that the hotel is kinda far from everything, and if you don’t have a car you will end up using taxi since public transport around is not the best (buses takes hours to get and the schedule is a mess). We were taking the taxi to the port to take a boat to go to downtown (around 10 euros).

For the negative points I would say it’s the pillows in the bedroom: they are uncomfortable and look really aged, the filling inside is a mess. I had a pain in the neck the other morning, and I asked at the reception if by chance they might have others. Luckily, they offered me other pillow, which was better than the standard one. I would suggest the owners to invest to good proper pillows for the 4 star hotel. The breakfast I would rate at 3.5 out of 5. There could have been a wider choice of the food for the hotels category. We ended up eating scrambled eggs and bacon every morning. What surprised me is a complete absence of vegetables for the breakfast, not a single lettuce or tomatoes or cucumbers.

Large room, with large bathroom, comfortable bed, excellent shower, perfumed toiletries, nice sunny varanda, good heating and air conditioning, hairdryer, spacious wardrobes. Varied breakfast, excellent outdoor swimming pool.

The indoor swimming pool is not big, and there is a rim underwater at one of the extremities for the water jets which is not well signalled — so we risk hit it as we swim, until we memorise the exact location. The duvets had a chemical smell. The carpet in the corridors was dusty. Buses to town not very frequent.

We picked this hotel purely for the fact that it was an easy drive to Lisbon airport, it had parking and scored an 8 or above on the Booking.com review. So, the hotel has a suburban location, on a fairly busy road. Its neighbours (and our view) was the local Lidl and a BP garage. BUT the beaches of the Costa da Caparica are a short drive away. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It's a design hotel, the main design feature being the colour black (and a bit of gold thrown in for good measure) Our room was a fair size, with a small balcony overlooking said Lidl and garage. The bed was massive and very comfortable. There was a minibar/fridge. The bathroom was one of those that have large window open onto the room, with a small frosted part to preserve the user's modesty. The rain shower was excellent. Breakfast offered a good selection and was plentiful. The outdoor pool was and interesting design, There is an indoor pool and spa (which we did not use)

The drawback of having black as your main colour is that it shows everything! Every mark left by a cloth wiped over it, dust and every small chip on the black furniture. This made the tables in the breakfast room look a bit shoddy. The toilet area of our bathroom could have done with a more thorough cleaning (also under the rim!). As I said, the bed was massive and very comfortable. It's a shame that the sheets weren't quite large enough to be tucked in under the topper. For the price and 4* rating, it really could have done with having tea/coffe making facilities in the room. It's all in the details.....

Everything was outstanding! Beautiful and super clean European beautiful hotel! Spacious rooms, delicious breakfast. Beautiful pools and spa. Their restaurant has delicious upscaled Portuguese cuisine that we chose to stay in and enjoy 2 nights in a row! Very nice people, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel and Portugal!

Everything and everyone was outstanding!

The property was amazing, the only downside for us was the gym, 3 machines very old and broken. Besides this the place was wonderful. I have to say honestly the entire staff was amazing, 100% amazing especially Miss Denise who works in the restaurant, Miss Denise is an unforgettable soul a wonderful pleasant person.

The gym equipment was outdated, old and broken.

the room was amazing it was clean and the view was really good. breakfast was great it was a bit limited but the quality of the food was really good and fresh pool looked great didnt use but looked amazing
