Beautiful and very quiet place close to the beach. There's a large balcony and multiple lounge areas outside to enjoy the view, bask in the sun or enjoy the sunset. The place itself is comfortable. There's a kitchen you can use, with a fridge, stove and kettle. There's a dining area. The room and bed were comfortable and peaceful. Vanessa was very communicative and provided me with detailed directions to the place. It was easy to stay in contact with her and she regularly checked in to see that everything was okay. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk away but the view from the top is spectacular. Those complaining about certain aspects need to adjust their expectations. This isn't a 5-star, full-service hotel, and the price reflects that. If you want 24-hr service you can go to a hotel. But if you want a quiet, romantic stay with an amazing view then Fonte de Telha Beach Hostel is the perfect spot.

No soap for hand washing in the bathroom, a minor inconvenience. I bought a bar of soap myself for .60 euro

amazing location, nice vibes at the hostel, a lot of space, and very clean and overall it was a great stay.. It is close to some good hiking spots and the beach is a short walk away, and the host Vanessa is very kind and cheerful

Communication could be a bit better/ faster. While it is not noisy, it is easy to hear when other people are moving about the hostel.. It was not a problem for us but is worth considering if quiet is important to you

Great location, lovely view, comfortable accommodation

Hard to find! It wasn’t until we were in a taxi driving around trying to find it that I was even sent directions. The taxi driver had to navigate with the owner to get there. It all turned out fine in the end

very nice host, we spent a great moment thanks to the amazing view and the location which are perfect. We slept well and enjoyed the kitchen in the morning to cook our breakfast before enjoying the beach !

Location can be hard to find , specially at night. There should be connecting stairs to the beach. Very easy to hear neighbourhood rooms

I would definitely recommend this hostel. Nice common terrace with sofas overlooking the sea. Room was very nicely decorated and felt very homely. Great bed, pillows and bedspread!

It was very difficult to find when dark at night, despite pictures. But host Vanessa sorted out directions, taking my call despite late - great!

Really nice place. Kevin was really helpful and friendly. He also helped me find nice and cheap alternatives to taxi even though google maps said there was no public transport.

Such a beautiful hostel. Exceptionally clean. Everything thing is organised to perfection. I love how the kitchen is organised with crockery and cutlery assigned to each guest. The view from the hostel is majestic.
