Jazmin was a wonderful host, keeping the facilities clean and serving a great breakfast buffet. She also responded quickly by WhatsApp during check-in, and fixed a code to the room lock which wasn’t working. Top marks!

At first, we thought the location was too residential, but we felt welcome at the local restaurant Casanova. If you’re bothered by airplane noise, be aware that the flight path for the Lisbon airport is close by.

Besides the Tempest during the week, we had a recharging and calm stay. The host and the girl at the buffet were very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely. Everything was perfectly clean. I would totally recommend to spend your holidays here.

Check in was initially an issue, but resolved with a phone call. Could have been a little more in the apartment in terms of bowls, a sharp knife. Beaches were lovely but not easily walkable to as no pavement, we used Bolt

Room nice and beds clean, fridge good. Pool not big, but good to have. Reasonable breakfast and setting.

It was not manned during arrival or generally at all (except during breakfast), but codes were provided, so no big issue, but see below. Due to absent of staff and open front door it looks that anybody can come in to main areas. Following morning at breakfast I was asked for refundable deposit of EUR 150 (as stated in terms) which is to be returned subject to inspection - so a big part of my breakfast was about deposit. I asked to pay by cash and yes possible, but NO receipt available - I did not want to risk of not get this returned or have to wait in the following morning of somebody to be at place, so then I paid by card and it was taken to my account. I contacted the hotel and they stated has been refunded at day after departure and that bank process takes 7 to 31 working days. I contacted again hotel - same answer and booking.com separately twice as I had not received the sum by 31 working days - I received it 35 working days. I am surprised that I have same card and normally I receive in 1-2 days any credit to account. Now the terms are stated 14 days. It just begs me if there is or has been other people in same situation and this deposit is very unusual request as the booking is paid by card separately. If it is really needed for deposit then I cannot understand why the sum cannot be blocked from card. The only interaction with staff was about deposit and staff at place English was very limited, so could not ask further questions. Bubble bath did not work properly. In the booking it says City tax EUR 2/person/night and somewhere I understand that below 13 years are exempted, but still was charged. Free parking stated: However, no parking instructions - we parked outside perimeter as there was free and noticed on day departure that parking can be in the yard at least for some.

Really liked that the whole family could stay in the same room with private bathroom. Location near the Praia of the Costa da Caparica. The kids loved the pool. That the breakfast was included.
