Very good location, nice clean house. Resort very well organised. Big swimming pool, mini market close, store with accessories available. Restaurant on in the Resort. Staff nice and helpful. Library at the reception ! Cleaning service available all week with an exception on Thursday and Sunday. Outdoor furniture at each house. Reception oper 24h. Comfy beds and amazing pillows! Very good place if you want to get rest!

We had a good few ants in the house that kept comming back

The staff were friendly and hard working. A wide range of food was available for breakfast. Housekeeping was excellent. The location is literally a short walk to the centre of town. The was a large pool, with plenty of sun loungers, tables and chairs. The staff on reception, housekeeping and breakfast duties deserve great credit for making my stay more enjoyable and problem free. Plenty of toiletries and an abundance of fresh towels were provided.

The hot food served at breakfast was tasty but please consider covering the hot food with lids. Perhaps leave a jar of honey beside the cereal.

The 3 villas were close together. There was plenty of space around each villa for children to play games. It is close to the shops in Cabanas and to the beach. The pool was large and clean and the bar area had very friendly waiting staff. Tennis and volleyball were very much enjoyed. Ricardo in booking was very helpful.

Not enough information given about the site before we stayed- we couldn’t find a map on the website showing where each villa was when we booked and had to pay a considerable amount more when we changed the booking to be close together. A map with all the villas numbered clearly on it would be a good idea, although we realize it is a huge site and this might not be easy.

Very nice complex, has a lot of things to do on there. Unfortunately I thought it was maybe a little cold for the pool so I didn’t take a dip and also as a solo traveller I didn’t do tennis! Well maintained grounds and daily housekeeping, also reception is always manned so super helpful. Short walk to the river where there were a lot of restaurants/ bars I would imagine it can be very busy in the height of the season!

The bed was just a little hard for my taste but that’s just personal preference

- Good size studio for 2 people. - Studio with balcony. - Comfy bed. - Kitchenette with a lot of equipment (much more than we expected). - Allows pets. - Good and clean swimming pool. - Dedicated boat service to the beach. - Timely check-in and allowed one hour extra at check-out when requested. - Location is in a quiet place. - Parking on site.

I love the layout of the units amongst lots of gardens. The pool area is also spacious with plenty of room for lots of sunbeds. There is also a terrace cafe that serves drinks and lunch and dinner. There is a supermarket on site along with a pharmacy. The hotel provides a free boat serve to go to the beach and a train to take you to the jetty to catch the boat. There is a bus stop outside the front door and the train station is about a 10/15 minute walk away.

Can't think of anything bad to say about it.

We booked this last minute to stay with our two dogs and we were pleasantly surprised! We had a studio apartment (77) and it was lovely! Recently refurbished, very clean, everything you need. Tea and coffee facilities provided in the room. We visited in November and it was very quiet and peaceful. Not many occupied apartments around us. Cabañas de Tavira is very small so it’s easy to walk everywhere from the apartment. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dogs were welcomed and for no extra cost. Gardens were beautiful and well kept. We would definitely stay again!

We liked everything! As previously said, there is no internet in the room, only in the communal areas. The whole site is too big for internet to reach every apartment. But we knew this before arriving and it wasn’t a problem.

We had problems at Faro airport which meant that we were rather late for the evening meal we had ordered. The restaurant staff waited until we arrived and had eaten , before they closed.

The apartments are spread over quite large area and it was dark when we arrived. We were given instructions how to get to our bungalow but the lighting was too dark for us to see the numbers on the properties and we had to go back to reception to get someone to accompany us to our apartment.

Fabulous complex & apartment. Clean and well-appointed accommodation. There could be a steep flight of steps to your apartment, so check that out beforehand if it is likely to be an issue.Staff are excellent, very helpful, and friendly. Great location with complimentary tourist train( you could walk it's only 10-15 minutes)and then short boat ride to cabanas beach. The pool & cafe on site are very good and not expensive. We didn't try the restaurant as buffet style & not to our personal taste. Very good selection of restaurants & bars within a short walk . Most have really good live music a couple of nights a week.

The restaurant was buffet style. We prefer a la carte.

We thought the service was wonderful. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and professional. The property (reception, pool, restaurant/bar, the grounds) were lovely. The food was excellent. We can’t wait to come back when the supermarket and main restaurant are open. We plan on returning and staying for a longer period of time.

Is there a hot tub? The end of February was too chilly to go in the pool but a hot tub would have been nice. Everything else was great!!
